OSAKA, JAPAN. ETHER PHARMACEUTICALS Headquarters.

The tall glass skyscraper reigned over the city, with the ETHER logo positioned right above the building's entrance, lit in white. The offices, previously full of life, had their lights turned off, after the end of the office hour. The employees, exiting the building, told the man in the bushes it was time to begin working.

47 walked out of the vegetation in the square in front of the building, where he had been hiding for the past few hours, observing the surroundings. He was wearing his tactical turtleneck and military pants, perfect for such a situation.

In the UK, he managed to disguise himself as a British Airforce pilot and used a cargo plane to reach east Asia, which took almost twelve hours. From Shanghai to Osaka, 47 used the Su Zhou Hao ferry, what took over forty hours of travel in the sea. Everything in the name of anonymity.

He sneaked around the building, waiting near a garage door in the west side of the skyscraper. Following the end of the office hour, employees who had their own vehicles would exit through there, and he would seize the opportunity to enter.

A few minutes later, the large steel garage door opened, but for 47's surprise, no one was exiting. Instead, a black truck, transporting an enormous container with the company's logo, arrived to enter. 47, making a quick revisal of the plan, found that the truck would be a better cover than risking to walk all the way through a restricted area.

He jumped in the back of the truck, climbing the container to remain unseen at the top. He then used two small openings on the top of the container to stick to the surface and prevent from falling. Whatever was being transported, it needed breathing. The truck, along with the few centimeters 47 added to the height of the vehicle, almost didn't pass through the garage door.

The vehicle rode inside the garage, stopping twice for security checks. 47 went past them unseen.

When he had certainty that the truck had arrived in the common parking lot of the building, he dropped and rolled from the top of the container.

The driver remained in the same speed than before, what told 47 that he hadn't noticed him.

The next step was to acquire a disguise and a keycard, if he found any. He wouldn't get past any eventual security checkpoints without one.

He waited near a pillar at the extensive garage, until he saw a victim. A distracted man, walking passively to a nearby vehicle. He grabbed his sedative syringe, which contained two shots of the powerful anesthetics he used since 2004.

Approaching the man silently, he heard him drop his keys. The ETHER employee stopped and crouched to pick them up, while 47 slowly got closer and closer to the man's back. In an abrupt movement, 47 grabbed the man and inserted the syringe's content in his right common carotid artery, through his neck. The action quickly put him to sleep.

Without wasting time, 47 quickly changed into the man's clothes, a simple grey suit with green tie and matching pants, and searched his pockets for a keycard. As 47 was well aware, the company didn't rely on badges with photos – but simple access cards. That was an advantage he had exploited in his trip to Sapienza.

With the car keys, 47 moved the sleeping man to the trunk of his own car before entering the building. The access card, that he held in his hands, had nothing written on it other than the ETHER logo in the cyan background.

Just before entering the building through the garage, 47 received a phone call. Picking the phone, Olivia's name popped up in the screen. He kept walking.
