We are shown a nice looking house with a big tree with a rope and tire swing. There was also a barn which sat along the opposite side of the property.

But the environment was anything but friendly. Because out in the front yard our favorite St. Bernard friend, Beethoven, was facing off against another more vicious looking St. Bernard while protecting a woman by her yellow Frod Pinto, with her only defense being a baseball bat. And shockingly, Beethoven and the other dog seemed to know each other.

"Don't do this, Cujo" Beethoven warned, appearing exhausted but stood his ground. "Don't make me have to hurt you"

The vicious St. Bernard, Cujo, growled, foaming at the mouth and covered in blood before lunging straight towards Beethoven in full beast mode.

Suddenly, Beethoven woke up revealing to be back in the Newtons' living room in the middle of the night. The St. Bernard took in a few deep breaths, scanning the room before realizing it had all been just a nightmare.

"That was weird..." Beethoven thought to himself before putting his head down and going back to sleep.

The next morning was like any morning in the Newton household. Beethoven watched his family rush around preparing to start their day. After eating breakfast, Beethoven came outside into the backyard where he was greeted by his friends.

"Hey, Beethoven, how's it going?" Sparky, the stray Jack-Russell Terrier greeted first.

"Oh, you know" Beethoven shrugged his shoulders. "George is late for work again. The usual"

"Got any plans today?" Ginger the Collie asked him.

"Well, now that you mention it... I was actually planning on going to visit my brother" Beethoven replied.

"You have a brother?!" Caeser, the not so intelligent Great Dane looked surprised.

"Do we finally have a dog who weighs more than you?" Sparky asked Beethoven in a bit of a teasing tone.

"Knock it off, Sparky!" Ginger glowered slightly towards the Jack Russell.

"Well, we're really happy for you Beethoven" Lucky, the Harpercops' Dalmatian and Beethoven's next door neighbor smiled. "It's always great when you get to see your siblings again, especially after so long"

"What's the guy's name?" Sparky then asked.

"Cujo..." Beethoven replied before he started to trail off. Ever since having that strange dream, he couldn't seem to shake it off.

Lucky noticed the St. Bernard appear agitated. "Something wrong?" He asked.

Beethoven quickly snapped out of his thoughts, telling his friends. "Oh, no! It's nothing! Really. I better be going"

The others watched their friend leave before Caeser, being the dumb dog that he was asked again. "Beethoven has a brother?..."

Now Cujo lived pretty far out of town, so Beethoven had to hitch a few rides along the way.

After traveling for a couple hours, Beethoven finally arrived in a small town which was Cujo's home. The St. Bernard jumped out of the pickup truck he had hitched a ride in and had a look around. Everyone seemed so friendly and not scared by the big slobbery dog.

Beethoven started sniffing the air, trying to pick up Cujo's scent... He got it! Beethoven traveled only about 6 miles out of town before coming to a beautiful forest area. The scent kept getting stronger and stronger, and that's when he saw him!

"Cujo?" Beethoven called out.

There a few yards away, stood a very big St. Bernard who was slightly larger than Beethoven. Beethoven regonized that dog anywhere as this was indeed his brother.

"Beethoven?" Cujo couldn't believe his eyes

"Beethoven?" Cujo couldn't believe his eyes. "Little bro, is that you?"

The two St. Bernards soon ran towards each other and tackled together in a great big bear hug, the way only dogs knew how to.

"How have you been?" Cujo asked.

"Great! Living the dream!" Beethoven smiled to his brother.

"Me too!" Cujo smiled back.

The two St. Bernards then embraced each other again.

"I've missed you little bro" Cujo said.

"Me too! It's why I wanted to come visit you" Beethoven told his brother.

"Well then, you want to see what I do for fun around here?" Cujo asked. Beethoven nodded in reply.

Cujo didn't have to take Beethoven far before he brought him over to an open meadow. Cujo soon stopped, whispering while his eyes narrowed. "Target in sight"

Beethoven looked out spotting a rabbit out in the open and wagged his tail, knowing where this was leading to.

"You ready?" Cujo asked his brother.

"You know it!" Beethoven said, crouching down next to his brother.

"On my count...." Cujo whispered. "GO!"

The two St. Bernards lunged towards the rabbit, but it proved to be too quick for them. They playfully chased the rabbit around, having fun together. The brothers soon chased the rabbit past a fence with Cujo in the lead. The rabbit went through a log crossing a small stream before disappearing.

"Where'd he go?" Cujo poked his head through the log.

Beethoven spotted the rabbit come out the other end of the log before quickly going into a hole to hide. "There he is!"

Cujo quickly brought his head back out of the log and continued chasing after the rabbit down the stream. "I'll get you yet!"

Cujo poked his head inside the hole but didn't see the rabbit anywhere. Beethoven suddenly got a bad feeling as his whole body began to tingle.

"Cujo, I think we should go" Beethoven advised his brother.

Cujo started barking. His barks were so loud that it woke up a bunch of bats, revealing this to actually be a bat cave. The bats flew around, not being happy while Cujo barked some more.

Beethoven only grew more anxious. "I'm telling you, bro, get out of there!"

"Not until I get that rabbit!" Cujo said, determined.

One of the bats then bit Cujo right on the nose as the St. Bernard let out a howl in pain before pulling his head back out.

"Cujo!" Beethoven gasped. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine" Cujo replied, shaking his head. "It's just a tiny bite"

Beethoven came over to his brother, getting a good look at the bite on his nose. "It looks nasty"

Cujo tried rubbing his paw against his nose as the bite wound was irritating him.

"We should get that checked out" Beethoven advised.

"My humans don't live far from here. I'll take you there" Cujo told him. "Follow me!"
