"NOOOOO!!!" Beethoven yelled before suddenly waking up.

The St. Bernard looked around anxiously while hyperventilating, before realizing he was back on the Newton's porch. Beethoven took a few moments to process everything.

"Was it all just a nightmare?..." He thought to himself. But it seemed so real.

"Morning, Beethoven!" Sparky's voice called.

Beethoven then looked to see his friends coming over to him.

"You okay?" Ginger asked. "We thought we heard you screaming"

"Yeah, are you all right?" Lucky said, looking concerned.

Beethoven was still deep in his thoughts before finally answering with a small smile.

"Yeah... Yes, everything is fine" He assured his friends.

Lucky then realized something, asking Beethoven. "Say, weren't you visiting your brother today?"

Beethoven suddenly stood up, realizing there was still time for him to save his brother.

"Lucky, get your humans to call animal control and meet me in Castle Rock as soon as possible!" Beethoven said, taking off down the street. "And hurry!"

Lucky, Sparky, and Ginger all blinked in confusion as they watched their friend jump into a passing truck, disappearing.

"Jeez, what was that all about?" Sparky asked.

Beethoven soon arrived in Castle Rock, jumping out of the truck and headed straight towards the fields he'd remembered seeing his brother at in his dreams. After only a few minutes, he found him.

"Cujo!" Beethoven called, running towards his brother.

Cujo turned around and was surprised to see his brother. "Beethoven? Little bro, what are you doing here?"

Beethoven smiled as he came up and nuzzled against his big bro. "Oh, I just had a feeling I needed to see you"

Cujo smiled back, embracing his brother. "Well, it's good to see you too"

They then noticed a rabbit wandering through the fields alone. The brothers smirked at each other before chasing after the rabbit together. The rabbit soon led the St. Bernards past the same stream Beethoven saw in his dream and disappeared down a hole.

Cujo was about to stick his head into the hole when...

"Cujo, wait!"

Cujo turned back to see his brother, keeping his distance from the hole before telling him. "I think we should just leave the rabbit be"

"Huh..." Cujo looked confused. "But why?"

Beethoven sighed, thinking about his nightmares of rabid Cujo before erasing them from his mind and smiled towards his brother.

"Trust me, it's better this way" He said.

Cujo simply shurgged his shoulders, backing away from the hole. "Okay, if you say so little bro"

Beethoven smiled to his brother. "Come on, let's go home"

The two St. Bernard brothers walked back together when Walter Harpercop arrived soon after with animal control and they quarantined off the area, taking care of the bats.

Cujo brought Beethoven to his home to meet his humans, and even some new friends, the Trentons, who had come for car repairs. Tad quickly became attached to the dogs, even Donna started warming up to them when Beethoven looked into her eyes, as if telling her she had no reason to fear them ever.

That was a promise.

Cujo and Beethoven soon ran off with Brett and Tad, playing together on this peaceful, sunny day...
