SURVIVAL - A CHANLIX STORY

Chan came inside Felix's room from taking a shower with only a towel on his lower waist while Felix was fixing a sleeping bag on the floor for him. "Okay... I've done your bed, hope its.....", Felix gulped when he raised his head seeing Chan walking towards him while drying his wet hair with a small towel smirking.

Felix got closer looking at him from his face to his abs, while Chan grinned with excitement. Felix's mouth went agape gazing at him, now making Chan feel uneasy, "Umm... Felix, everything okay?", he asked with furrowed eyebrows. Suddenly Felix asked him a question, "How does it feel if I touch here", he said touching Chan's side rib making him wince out in pain, causing him to sit down on the bed not answering.

"Your father did a number on you, I think you have at least broken rib, lots of bruising and swelling on your abs area", Felix was now observing his face while joining him on the bed. "You have bruising on your nose but at least it's not fractured, your bone is still intact, blue eye, your lip has bruising, needs a little ointment, it'll go away, wait here", he said leaving the bewildered Chan alone.

Felix returned with a big first aid kit, then kneeled between Chan's legs, which quickly made him close his legs, causing Felix to smile while taking out the needed items. "Are you a doctor or something?",, Chan asked with an eyebrow raised. Felix laughed this time, "I wish, where would I even get the money to study, I just learn these things In the library on my spare time to be able to help out more with the kids and anyone who's sick", he explained while applying ointment on his cuts and scrapes on his lips and other areas on the face.

Chan rolled his eyes while grumbling, "And here I thought you were interested in my abs". Felix looked up at him in question, "What was that?", he asked him... Chan chuckled, "Nothing".

"Okay arms, up, i know it's gonna hurt a bit, but I need to put the bandage on your ribs and neck ", he told him, and so Chan did. While Felix was working on him, Chan kept going back to the robbery subject, "So this Han and Abigail, after they...were hurt, did they ever find out who it was or see their faces?", he asked curiously.

Felix stopped and looked at him, "You and this subject, but they said they didn't see their faces, even though I think Han knew who attacked him. After what happened to him he just became distant, not even talking to me and we were veryclose", Felix said in sorrow.

"Did they hurt them infront of you?", Chan continued. Felix scoffed at him, "I'm done officer Chan, and No.. they kept him in his room while they took me, Abigail and the kids downstairs, tying us in ropes",Felix explained with hooded eyes.

"Mother F*ckers, these people know you guys, there's a connection somewhere. When you get visitors maybe from the pope or pastors or cops, did Abigail or Han seem distance to them?", Chan asked again, making Felix stop packing up the first aid kit to think this time.

"There was this cop, I think he's officer Wang's partner, when they came to by check on us later the following day, Han quickly left, he did that twice everytime that cop came by, then after, that cop never came back. Why do you think it might be the cops", Felix asked while handing him two pain killers and water.

After Chan drank, he raised his eyebrow at Felix, "Because cops are the worst criminals", Chan told him before looking at the floor where he's supposed to sleep and made a sulky face.

Felix just shook his head, then went downstairs to grab him some bucket of ice for his abs. When Felix returned to his room, he widened his eyes at Chan who was all snuggled up in his bed. "Ah.. excuse me, I made the floor for you", he said with an eyebrow raised.

Chan pouted, "Come on Felix, I can barely bend, that's cruel and unusual punishment", he said with pursed lips, while Felix looked away poking the inside of his cheek. "Fine you bully, I have a knife next to my night stand, so better not try anything!", he warned with squinted eyes.

"I'm in really bad shape right now, what could I really do to you Felix, I just need sleep and your pills are kinda working, hoping they'll help with my insomnia", he said, while Felix passed him the bucket of ice and towel. "Not my problem,", Felix said before getting on his side of the bed making sure to scoot as far away from Chan, almost touching his nightstand.

Chan smiled before organizing his ice and facing the ceiling. "So the girl Abigail, was she okay after being attacked, didn't she recognize any faces?", Chan started again, making Felix growl, "It's over... it won't happen again, we have an alarm system now suggested by officer Wang and that other officer Han didn't like", Felix answered.

"Oh..so coffee guy and the rapist suggested the alarm system?", he blatantly asked, causing Felix to hit his head with a pillow... Making Chan chuckle a little, "Okay okay, I'm sorry, ouch my ribs", he complained. After a few minutes, Felix replied, "Go to sleep, you leaving in the morning!", Felix growled out before turning off the lights.

"Something's fishy", Chan thought to himself before slowly dosing off from the pain killers.
