Jenna Ortega and Taika Waititi have been spotted in Auckland's CBD, shutting down a popular city street to film their upcoming project.
Waititi is directing the film adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's novel Klara And The Sun, with Ortega starring in a lead role.
The filming partially closed High Street on Friday, continuing throughout the weekend with their last filming day in the area ending on Monday.
The confirmed cast also includes Natasha Lyonne, Amy Adams, Simon Baker, Mia Tharia and Harry Greenwood.
Aran Murphy, son of Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy, is also set to appear in a supporting role - the family had .
A photo obtained by Stuff shows Ortega walking Jean Batten Place, adjacent to High Street, dressed in an all-black ensemble and sunglasses.
Another photo showed the activity on the street during filming.
On social media, one person claimed to have seen Waititi amongst the production crew, with one photo appearing to show Waititi with his face covered by a baseball cap.
Another user on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared bird's eye view images of the production, showing crew on bicycles.
