Love Unexpected

Chapter 7

We arrive down in the lobby after a short elevator ride, and we find Lando and Moni waiting for us in the lobby. "Hey guys, I brought some more company to the dinner with me" I say as we reach them.

Lando nods "No problem, I asked Carlos, and he is brining Charles with him, they have already gone into the restaurant to find a table" he says with a smile.

I smile "the more the merrier it gets, lets go and find them" as I pull Daniel after me into the hotel restaurant.

Lando and Moni leads the way as they probably know where Carlos and Charles had found a table, we find them just in the back of the restaurant by my brother and his company.

My eyes lands straight onto Sebastian and I sign. This day couldn't get any worse, I had to deal with him over dinner too.

Kevin gives me an apologetic look and nods as understanding because he knows me too well sometimes.

I find myself a seat between Moni and Daniel, and it just happens to be straight across from Sebastian, but then again, my brother is sitting beside Sebastian and across for Daniel so it would be okay. Sebastians wasn't going to ruin my dinner plans with my friends, I would have just ignore him.

I pull up the menu between me and Daniel as not to get eye contact with Sebastian. Daniel whispers to me "Just ignore him, he isn't worth your time" just as he starts whispering, Max leans over from Daniel's other side and looks at him "I can tell him to fuck off if you want" he whispers and I shake my head "Just let it be, I can handle it fine."

I look over the menu at my brother first and sees he's chatting with Valtteri and Fernando about the cars from testing today. I slowly look over at Sebastian and sees he's talking to Charles.

I slowly let a breath out and take a new look at the menu to see what I would have, but I already knew what I wanted because no matter where I went, I almost had the same thing every time. The Caesar Salad, it was my all-time favorite no matter where I went.

I hadn't noticed that Mick had joined our group too until the waiter came over to our table to take our orders.

When we all have ordered, Charles looks at me with a smile on his face "I believe we haven't met yet, I'm Charles" He says with his french accent and reach his hand out across the table, I shake it "I'm Johanne, K-Mag's sister" I give him my sweetest smile because I could feel Sebastian were looking at me, but I just ignores it.

Carlos follows through with greeting me "Nice to finally meet you, Lando has told me a lot about you, but don't worry, only nice things" he says with a smile. I nod as I continue with greeting all the other drivers that didn't know me already gave me their name, but I still already knew who they were because of my brother.

When they all got to know that I was K-Mag's sister, they started asking me about my accident back in 2015.

More politely Lewis asks me from the end at the table since he was just curious because he had heard about it from my brother.

Kevin knows I get uncomfortable when talking about my accident, but I look at him a nod "It's okay, brother" I smile as I re-tell my story about the accident to the drivers that didn't knew about it, I can feel most of them looking at me while telling the story but I look at Lewis as I talk since he was the one that asked me about it.

As I've finished telling them the story our food arrives, and we all dig into our food in silence. A little small talk goes around the table while we eat, throughout the meal I can feel every now and the Sebastian looking at me, but I just ignores it.

We had finished up our dinner, and Daniel had switched places with Lewis for a while because Lewis wanted to talk to me.

I'm having a chat with Lewis about my life before and after the accident, he was just curious about how dangerous horse riding could be, just like driving a formula 1 car.

The tone between us hit of pretty well, Lewis was such a down to earth and kind person and just loved how curious he was about my time as a rider and trainer as well, so we agreed to when the summer break came around, we would go horseback riding, or I would teach Lewis how to ride a horse.

I continue chatting with Lewis and my brother has also joined in on the conversation, I feel a foot travel up my leg under the table, and I know instantly who that foot belongs to. I look over at Sebastian and sees his smirking.

I kick him in leg and smile back at him when I see that hurt him, but he tries to not make any sound that it hurt, to try to not make anyone else notice, but my brother did, and I see he grins back at me because he know I can handle Sebastian by myself just fine.

We continue on our conversation before the little incidence with Sebastian happened, I yawn as I starting to feel tired after the long day.

"I think I will retire for the day; it's been a long first day for me. Nice meeting you all" I smile as I push my chair back and stand up. I see in my side view that Sebastian is about to get up, but I give him a stern look to point out that he should just stay where he is.

"It was nice meeting you, Johanne" Lewis says as he kisses my hand. "If you ever get bored in the Haas garage, you know where to find me, you're always welcome there" I smile with a slight blush in my cheeks "Thank you, Lewis. Likewise!" Kevin had already gotten out of his seat and went to mine and Lewis side of the table while I was saying goodbye to Lando and Moni with a hug. "See you guys tomorrow at the track."

Daniel and Max had joined myself and my brother since they also wanted to take an early night in.

We got into the elevator and pushed the button to 20th floor. As we get off on our floor, Kevin gives me a hug "Good night sis, hope you had a great first day as my PA" he says with a smile. I nod and smiles back "It was great, and I meet a bunch of new people that I bonded great with. Goodnight and see you tomorrow morning."

Kevin walks off to his room.

Daniel pokes me in the shoulder "did you kick Sebastian in his leg or something?" I shush him before scanning my keycard to my room before I pull them both into my room and closes the door behind them.

"What if I did? What would you do about it?" I look at him and trying not to laugh about it.

Daniel sees right through me and starts laughing "You did, didn't you?" He asks me. I nod and starts laughing with him.

Max gives me a high five "Well done little she-devil, knew I would like you when Daniel told me about you" he says with a smile.

"What about we have a movie night?" Daniel asks and looks over at me. I nod "It's fine for me, the bed is big enough for all three of us" I look over at Max as he agrees with Daniel. I smile "okay, a movie night it is, but I'll lay in the middle then because I don't wanna get kicked out by any of you two" I say as I point my finger at the both of them.
