Chapter 10

As Max leaves the room, I turn around and pushes at Daniel. "Get up you fucking sleepy head!" I shout at him with a smile on my face. He groans and pulls the blanket over his head. "Why do you need to shout this early in the morning?" He says with his groggy morning voice.

I shake my head and pulls the blanket away from him. "Get up! Time to get ready to go to the track Danny boy!" I use his nickname that he hates over everything since it sounds like he's a little kid, which he is not.

He looks at me with a stern look on his face, but then he remembers what happened last night. He chuckles for himself before he pulls his phone from the nightstand before scrolling through his phone to find the thing, he was going to show me.

"Look at these cute little pictures I took of you after you fell asleep on Max last night" He laughs as he shows me the pictures on his phone.

I groan and try to take his phone from him. "Delete those pics right now!" He shakes his head as he gets out of bed to hold his phone out of my reach. "Nope! Not gonna do that, when I can tease you with these!" He smiles.

"Daniel Joseph Ricciardo! You delete those pictures right now or I'm gonna smash your phone!" I tell him.

"Or what? Shortie? You won't be able to get my phone away from me" He winks at me before he sticks his phone in his pocket. I sign and gets out of bed. "Fine, you win this time Ricciardo, but you don't show them to anyone else! Okay?" I say to him.

He nods "Okay, but Max already knows about them since he was still awake when I took them" I look at him with a shock on my face. "He was?" I facepalm myself in the face. "Hey, Jojo don't worry! He was okay with it" he says as he walks over to give me a hug.

I hug him back and lay my head on his chest. "Danny, I don't know where my feelings are at the moment. You know I've had this crush on Max for a long time, but after we've gotten closer as friends... I don't know how to feel and act around him in case I scare him away" I tell him as I look up at him.

He had been looking down at me the whole time I was talking to him about my feelings. He didn't always have much to say when it came to things like these, but I knew he always would listen to me still.

"And then there is this situation with Mr. Vettel I don't understand. Why would he want me? I'm not that special" I sign and look down again.

"Johanne listens to me" He cups my face with his big hands and gets me to look at me. "You are special and perfect in your own way, no matter how many flaws you have! And to Sebastian, he has been doing things like this his whole F1 career, you know I've been there myself, but after I met you and we became friends, you made me a better person, don't doubt yourself for a second" he says to me reassuringly.

I nod "thanks Danny, I needed to hear that. I'm so lucky to have you as my best friend and as a reserve brother" I hug him again and tight. He hugs me back before he lets go of me. "I'm proud of you how far you have come after your accident, and I'm always gonna be here for you, you know that."

He sits down on the bed before he pulls on his shoes. "I will meet you down in the lobby in 20min, so we can get ourselves something to eat before we head to the track."

I nod "See you in a bit" I say as Daniel walks out the door. I walk over my suitcase to find something to wear for the day. I could feel it would be a hot day today, so I find my green short jumpsuit, it was as green as the Aston Martin colors, but I didn't think much of it since I loved wearing it, although it showed my old surgery scars on both my legs, but I just had to overcome my fear and flaws about my scars.

I find a pair of new white panties and bra before I walk in to my ensuite to wash myself in the face and get dressed.

I take off my oversized t-shirt along with my old panties, pulls on the new pair along with the bra. I pull on the jumpsuit and close it with the buttons on the front of it. I look at myself in the mirror, I always did look good with my auburn hair and wearing something green.

Start braiding my hair in one braid from the top of my head and leaving two loose strands on each side of my face and braid my hair as it reaches down to my ass and fastens it with a hair tie.

I feel like I didn't need to put on some make-up today, so I only put some sunscreen on since the sun was already shining through the few clouds there were on the sky today.

As I walk back out in my room, I hear my phone vibrate so I walk over to my nightstand to look at my phone. Kevin had texted me to meet him down in the lobby in 5min to eat breakfast before heading over to the track and his meeting.

I text him back at I would be down in a few seconds. I find my white sneakers that fitted to my outfit and pull them on before I pull my black Haas hoodie with me just in case. Grabs my backpack and all the necessary things I needed for the day.

Then I grab my phone and keycard with me as I walk over to the door and walks out and locks my door with the keycard.

As I'm walking over to the elevator, Mick comes out of his room just as I pass it. "Hey Johanne, going down to eat breakfast?" I nod "Yes, wanna join me, Kev and Daniel?" I ask him as I stop to wait on him to let him have time to lock his door.

"Yes, and by the way you look great today, Johanne" he says as he kisses my cheek.

I smile "Thanks Mick, you did scrub up well you too" I comment back at him as we walk over to elevator.

We travel down to the lobby and get out and sees both Kevin and Daniel stands there talking while waiting on us.

Kevin hugs me like he always does when he sees me, since he's such a caring big brother. "How are you feeling today sis?" He asks me as he looks me up and down. I smile "I'm fine, and my scars don't ache today either because of the warm weather today."

Daniel pushes me lightly in the arm "You look good as always Jojo" he says with a grin on his face.

"Thanks Danny, I'm starving, lets go and eat before heading over to the track" I nod as we walk into the restaurant in the hotel and finds us a table for the four of us.
