JISUNG POV
7:15 pm. I checked my watch. He walked into the restaurant at 7:15 pm
We were supposed to meet at 6. He was an hour and fifteen minutes late. And he did not look like he was going on a date. Blind date or not. He was in a white shirt, the first button unfastened, sleeves rolled up and a tie loosened at the collar and black suit pants. His hair was black, long and messy. It looked like he was going to a frat party and not on a date. Such a waste of time. I am going to kill Changbin.
We made eye contact. He waved at me; I waved back at him, and he walked over to the place where I was sitting. I sat up straight and ran my hands across my hair to make sure it was not messy (which it would not be with the amount of hairspray Changbin had put.)
"Hi, I am sorry for being late. It was not my intention to do so. My boss just gave me some last-minute work which took time for me to finish." he said. Boastful much?
"That is okay. Hi, I am Han Jisung. Nice to meet you" I said, raising my hand for a shake.
"Thank you. I am Lee Minho. Nice to meet you too." He takes my hand and gives it a light shake. I can't help but notice how big his hands are compared to mine. His arms are so veiny too. He did look hot while walking into the restaurant. Snap out of it, Jisung.
"Shall we order dinner and then talk?"
"Sure!"
Both of us ordered our respective food. And looked at each other. I just wanted to get over this.
"So why did you agree to go on this date." I asked him.
"Well... I am going to be honest with you. I did not want to go on a date. I am focusing on my career right now and I am not interested in a relationship. Chan forced me to go on this date. In return he was willing to do my laundry for a month. So, I was like, why not."
Ouch! He agreed to go on a date only because Chan was willing to do his laundry for a month in return. Not that I was hoping that he was eager to go on a date with me. But that hurt.
"But now I am thinking that maybe it was not a bad idea to go on this date after all." he said with a small smirk-like smile on his stupid handsome face.
Not a bad idea my ass! Stop blushing Jisung.
"Uhm okay."
"Why did you agree to go on this date?"
"I am going to be honest too. Changbin forced me to go on this date. I was free so I was like, 'why not'." I smiled back at him.
The two can play this game.
'So, what do you do for a living?' I ask him. After all, that was what made him late.
