Ro been my dawg since seventh grade. I was a real shy girl and he stayed in trouble but he always defended me when I wouldn't defend myself

"Wsp sis you good?"

"I'm good, are you good?" I asked

"Yk I am if you are"

I chuckled

"Are you working today?"

Ro worked in a tattoo shop but they also do piercings and it's the cheapest place in the city so it's rarely dead

"Yea I'm in right na, you gettin sum?"

"I wanted my belly pierced, is it crowded?"

"Nah it's a li slow right na, but you know our slow not normal slow"

"Come in tho, I gotchu" He added

"Okay I'll be there in a hour"

I would say I was getting my belly pierced for no reason and it was an impulsive decision but I'd be lying

To be honest there was a very big reason

I wanted a change to my appearance but nothing too major, I just wanted to feel a change

After my breakup I wanted a lot of changes but this is just the beginning

I pulled up to the tattoo shop and surprisingly it really wasn't as crowded as it usually is

This tattoo shop is the equivalent to a barber shop for us

Everyone was there or around there at all times whether they were getting a tattoo or not

I walked in triggering the bell gaining a small crowds attention

"Hi" I waved

Greetings were heard from most people

"Wsp sis, I missed yo li ass, haven't heard from you since you went all MIA" Ro said as he hugged me

"I missed you too Ro and I'm sorry about that"
