"Over here shikikan, you can see we have food stands with all sorts of delectable choices," Akagi presented.
"Mhm..."
"If you ever find your looking for a delicous snack, this is the area. Personally, I recommend the Ramen stand. Our chefs know how to present a delicous meal!
"Uh-huh..."
Cade was only half paying attention to Akagi, as he was more focused on his surroundings. He is taking in the scenery of the base, and how that it stayed the same, despite many new additions. He also began to the notice the kansens they were passing by started looking at him.
"Hey, is that our new commander?"
"Jesus, he's tall..."
"That jacket is not doing him any justice..."
"He looks kinda intimidating..."
"He's a cutie~"
Cade smiled as he begins hearing positve compliments heading his way.
"Yup. I think i'm gonna fit back in real good..," he thought to himself.
Cade noticed something, and came to a stop.
"Wait a minute..."
"Commander?" Enterprise looks at Cade going in a different direction, and went after him. Akagi, Belfast and Bismarck noticed this and followed him aswell.
Cade approaches an old fanshioned style Coffee shop, with the name, "Bob's Beanhouse." The restaurant looked as if though it were made from the 1980s, but it has withstood the test of time, having been updated with present day tech. Cade stared at the place in debelief.
"No way... this place is still here?"
"Commander/Kommandant/Shikikan, wait!"
Cade barely heard their words as he went inside the shop, with the others in close pursuit.
He looked around to see the shop, with newer tables place across the Checker-styled porcelain floor. He sees a few sets of couches and chairs where large groups of friends would gather around to talk about their days. He and his parents were regulars here, so the place felt like home to him.
As he approaches the cash register, he says a familiar face. An older man that looks be in his early 50s, but still maintains good shape. He has a mustache that reminiscent of Tom Selleck.
"Welcome to Bob's Beanhouse! How may i be of assistance..?
He noticed the group behind Cade, but he also noticed the man in front of him.
"He looks familiar... reminds me of...Adam..."
His eyes widened a little as he figured out who the man is. Cade noticed this and gave him a subtle gesture to be silent. The older man noticed this and gave him a smile.
"Excuse me, my name is Robert, but you can call me Bob."
"Nice to meet you, Bobby." Cade winked at him.
"Hold on, let me guess your favorite drink....Hot chocolate with whipped cream on top, sprinkles to finish it off?
"Wow, that's a good guess!" Cade, astounded that the man still remember his favorite drink as a kid.
"How about the ladies behind you?" Bob asks.
"Hmm... feel like sharing hot chocolate with me?"
"Aw you shouldn't spoil me on your first day, but i shall accept.~" Akagi says with delight.
