nicolas holds up his schedule, looking between the sheet of paper and the classroom door.
'room 201? i guess this is it.'
"ah!" a voice behind him yelps.
"oh, uh are you okay?" nicolas turns around and asks the voice.
"yeah! thanks.." he gives a shy smile.
"no problem," nicolas offers one in return.
they enter into the classroom together and split up to find their respective seats.
'okay..now where is my seat..'
nicolas's eyes dart across the desks as he walks into the first row, finally landing on his name.
he takes his seat and looks at the nearby desks.
'aiden c? maybe there are two aidens..?'

most students arrived into the classroom by the time the bell is about to ring, the teacher nowhere in sight.
'where even is the teacher? if he's not here, why should i be?' nicolas questions himself, resting his arms on the table.
"we wouldn't have been late if you would've helped instead of recording!" a male voice yells out.
"sorry we're late!" the same voice adds, stepping into the classroom.
"please don't mark us tardy!" the girl next to the boy comments aswell.
"oh..he's not here yet, we still have a chance."
"a chance?" an unfamiliar voice says from behind the two. "are two of my students already late on the first day?"
the two move out of the way to reveal a joyful teacher.
"just kidding! a class rule is if we're both late and you get here before me, you're safe-"
the teacher looks down at the boy.
"where's your shoe?"
nicolas also looks down, just noticing that the boy was missing a shoe.
"you should find that after class.."
"yes sir."
moving on, the teacher walks toward his desk.
"go ahead and find which desk has your name on it and take a seat."
nicolas finally looks up and sees the boys he talked to on the bus.
the blonde boy looks up at ashlyn, who happened to sit near nicolas, and smirks at her sinisterly.
"sorry i'm late everyone! these two are new to the school, so make sure to give them a warm welcome."
he pauses, looking at them.
"you guys can take a seat aswell."
they walk up towards ashyln and nicolas. nicolas waves to ben, who was the only one out of the duo to acknowledge him.
"let's begin with introductions, shall we? we'll go in alphabetical order."
'icebreakers? seriously.'
