One of those days.

That's all that can be said.
One of those days, it hits harder and strikes more precisely than the rest. One of those days, it's harder to get out of bed.

One of those days..

He sighed with a slightly gruff tone, his long, lengthy fingers rubbing at his aching temples. 'It's strangely quiet today..' His head tilted, adjusting his viewpoint as he peered through his bangs.

'She's strangely quiet today...'

It wouldn't take much for Warumono to understand the situation. It was his wife, after all. He knew her like the back of his hand, even if most human cultures and problems flew over his head, his wife's did not.
He rose to his aching feet and clamored to their shared 'bedroom', though more rightly described as the part of the apartment adjusted to sleeping.
Due to the lack of rooms.
Her hair lay unkempt and sprawled out in all directions as she lay on her side, unmoving. Her fingers poked at his soft panda plush, the rest of her form completely still. Whether she heard or knew of his presence wasn't known to him.

"My love.." He started, before stopping. Even the slightest glance at her state told him conversation was not the solution. Heck, was there even a solution to a 'problem' of this sort?

No, of course not.
It's just one of those days.

He slid into the futon behind her, his long and firm, yet gentle body pressed against hers as he pulled her back to his chest. He didn't speak nor make any grandiose moves.
Warumono only cupped her hand gently into his, kissing the back of her neck before shutting his eyes. He muttered a soft, deep tone that rang through her hair.

"I know I can't fix your pain or take it away, but as long as you have one of 'those days', I'll stay by your side til the end of time.
You'll never have to have another one of those days alone. So take your time and rest, my love."

Eventually, of course, Warumono had persuaded 'name' into eating a good couple of healthy meals, a warm bath, and a nice change of clothes

A day of poor mental health would not warrant an unhealthy wife in his household, no.

Needless to say, the next day was not, in fact, one of those days..
