The Vampire: The Life of Katherine

Chapter 13

July 12th 1815

Milan Italy, Katherine is walking through the streets with Samantha on her arm, they've become some sort of couple since they tortured and killed Lincoln a few years ago. They love and respect each other as a partner, but neither are in love as Samantha does prefer the company of men. Amon created a sex minion for the women in the house, Amon found him in Spain, Katherine had to teach him English, and they named him Kyle as Amon said that there's enough Pedro's living in Spain.

Katherine has found another Hunter, a male witch Hunter called Mario, she also learned that he's been a Hunter for over 60 years, and he's killed powerful demons and some old vampires. She's very intrigued to get into a fight with this one. His schedule is very similar to Johnathan Benson's, he leaves about an hour before sunset and arrives home just after sunrise.

Samantha found out for her that he's a lone Hunter, he has no family and no friends or any helpers.

"So he lives for the mission, and a hunter with nothing to lose has nothing to live for. I'm going to have to come up with new ways to torment this one." Katherine says to Samantha and gives her a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"What are you thinking Kat?" Samantha asked.

Katherine just shrugged and carries on walking to the Hunters house, as she wants to break in and have a look around, learn more about him, see if he has a journal.

"I'm sure I'll think of something, but that's months down the line yet." Katherine tells her.

They arrived at Mario's home, it was just a two-bedroom bungalow just on the outside of town, it was made from strong wood, and it looked like he built it himself to keep him away from humans. As they get to the front door they notice that it was open, Katherine looks at Samantha and then rips her dress off reveal her outfit that Amon had made minus the jacket, she pulls the dagger attached to her leg.

"Wait here my darling, I'll go and see if it is clear." Katherine tells her and lifts the hood over her head and enters the house.

The smell of powerful blood hits her nose, she has to stop walking towards the smell and compose herself as her demon wants to come to the surface. She walks into the room with the smell of blood and there she finds the Hunter Mario crucified above his bed naked.

On the bed is an envelope with Katherine's name on it. She leaves the envelope and does a quick sweep of the bungalow to make sure no one is in, then she tells Samantha to enter. The smell is too much for Samantha, and she bulls into the bedroom and finds Katherine sat on the bed with her legs crossed and an envelope in her hand. Katherine looks up and sees Samantha in full Vampire face.

"Taste what you can Sam, just try to control yourself beautiful." Katherine says to her.

"Sorry Kat I've never smelt such powerful blood before." Then she changes back into her beautiful human features.

"I've controlled myself Kat. What you got there?" Samantha asked her. Katherine holds up the envelope.

"This was staged and left for me." Katherine says sounding rather upset.

She opens the envelope and pulls out a piece of paper, she opens it to reveal a drawing of the hunter behind her. There is another piece of paper in the envelope with writing on it. She reads it out loud.

"I'm only a fledgling of 24 years and I killed my first Hunter, it would seem that I'm better than you auntie Kat." She folds it up and stuffs it into the side of her left breast.

"There's nothing worth stealing here, even his weapons are missing, let's go as I want to speak to Ben." Katherine says to her. Samantha nods and walks out, Katherine stands from the bed and begins walking towards the door, she stops and takes one last look back into the room, grits her teeth and storms out.
