A U T H O R
Rattling and tinkling sounds of plates and glasses echoed in the cafe. All the workers were busy attending and serving the guests, the cafe was silent. Only soft whisperings of people could be heard.
But, there were two more people in the cafe who were staring- no no GLARING at each other.. Their silent glares were much louder than any sound in the cafe.
The waiter standing at their table was getting increasingly nervous, awkward and caught up in a dilemma whether to ask for their order or not, but he had to ask them, after all their guest were none other than Aarav Malhotra, the rising billionaire of the country and Purvi Ahuja, the daughter of Prataap Ahuja, the owner of The Ahuja Palace one of most successful and rising hotels of India.
"S-sir.. Ma'am, what would you like o-order?" The waiter asked while stuttering.
"Just water," Purvi said, breaking the glaring competition.
"What!" Aarav asked, shocked, then looking at the waiter said "I would like to have one frappuccino, one tiramisu, no make it two, one blueberry cheesecake, one baklava cheesecake and umm" he carefully scanned the menu "Nah, that's it!" he passed a bright smile towards the waiter who wrote down his order.
Meanwhile Purvi who was looking at him had evident shock on her face..
Who the hell orders so much when they are on an 'accidental date'?
Her thoughts were interrupted by the waiter "Ma'am would you like anything more?" He asked again as she didn't order anything except for just a glass of water.
"Um- I'll have a cappuccino" she said as it would be awkward if she just drank water in front of a guy who just ordered a proper meal for himself!
"Okay, will be right back with your order!" He left from there.
"Now tell me what the fuck are you doing here!" Aarav snapped at Purvi the moment the waiter left them.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that! And I could ask you the same! Mister!" Purvi snapped back.
"Mujhe Mummy ne bola yaha aane ko wedding planner se baat karne ke liye! Tum wedding planner ho kya!" He said, whining.
"Nhii mujhe bhi yehi bola tha Ma ne ki koi wedding planner ayega! I should have known her plan!"
Both of them sighed.
"It was all their plan," Purvi said while Aarav nodded sadly.
"Uh- well you know we can't really be like this you know" Aarav said hinting her about their 'chattis ka aakda'
"Yeah, uh- I'm forgiving you just because we are getting married and we can't do this in front of our parents," Purvi said.
Suddenly Aarav laughed a little then continued "You're a funny girl, Missy"
"I do not think I cracked some joke," Purvi spoke raising one brow.
"Well you do live in your own bubble, Missy!"
"What bubble-"
"It was you who bumped into me and the bottle of the sleeping pills could have broke!" Aarav interrupted.
"It was you who was in a hurry and didn't even look while speeding!"
"I can say you the same thing, madam! Where were YOU looking at?!"
