A U T H O R

Purab stands in front of the big house, well, mansion “The mansion doesn't lure me into giving my sister away, we have a big house too! And if my sister wants I'll build her a mansion too” he muttered to himself before pressing the bell.

The harsh words of his dearest little sister would never make him stop from wanting the best for her. He will never let anyone harm his sister again and if that breaks his sister's marriage, then be it. But he has no proper explanations for why he does not want his sister to get married to anyone– maybe it's the fear? Fear of losing her again?

The door opened and Purab was greeted by the smile of a lady around his mother's age “probably that dude's mother” Purab thought to himself before nodding his head as she stepped aside to let him in.

Purab Ahuja was a cold bastard. The only person he ever showed some emotions is his sister–Purvi.

“Prataap ji called and informed Avinaash about your arrival, myself Supriya Malhotra, Aarav's mother” she introduced herself.

“Namaste” Purab greeted before continuing “I just want to meet him and go. I have some work with him so if you please…”
[Hello]

She offered a smile before continuing, “Okay, then go upstairs, walk straight then turn right, the room at the last corner is his office room you can wait there I'll inform Aarav about your arrival and prepare something for you– ”

“No no-” she cut him off by saying “What no? Meri bahu ke bhai ho, khatir dari to hoke rahegi ”
[You are my daughte-in-law's brother, sake will be given]

"Bahu? Meri behen ko bahu bhi bana liya? Shaadi bhi nahi huyi!! Ab aur hogi bhi nahi!” He thought to himself but just nodded at her as she walked away.
[Daughter-in-law? You made my sister your daughter-in-law too? She didn't even get married!! And there won't be any marriage too!

“Walk straight then left– no right? or was it left? Gosh don't they have any maids in this house! What kind of billionaire are they? Irresponsible people! I won't let my sister get married in this house!” He muttered.

“I guess it was left, the room at the last corner yeah right.” He walked in front of the door before knocking twice. No reply.

He furrowed his eyebrows before knocking again. No reply.

“Gosh! I am going to be late for these people” saying that to himself he pushed the door open. His eyes fell on the baby pink colour of the wall with many star-like things hanging.

“Isn't this room a bit ‘girly’ type? And it doesn't look like an office room, did I enter the wrong room? Shit!” he attempted to turn back to move out of the room when his eyes suddenly fell on a photo frame.

A photo frame where a little girl was standing folding her hands, wearing a crown and was between two little boys who had their arms around her shoulders.

Unknowingly a small smile formed on his lips, the photo brought memories of his sister and him when they were just two innocent little kids– happy and content with life.

He couldn't help but mutter “cute” looking at the photo frame. Just then, he heard a click sound, and before he could turn back he heard a gasp
“What is a stud-muffin doing in my room?”

He turned back only to get the shock of his life, there stood Aarohi wrapped in a towel which ended above her thighs, water droplets falling from her wet open hair.

It would be a lie to say that the sight of a very beautiful woman in front of him with nothing but only a towel wrapped around her caramel skin didn't affect him in any way.
