Adhvika's pov

When we reached Rathore mansion I was mesmerized by its decoration it was decorated like a newly bride

I got out of the car and Devansh was beside me walking with me , when I reached at the door my mother in law was standing there with thaal of aarti for the ghruhpravesh

She did aarti of both of us " Beta abb iss kalash ko apne daye pair se dhire se dhaaka mar ke girado" she said and I did

[ Beta now kick this kalash gently with your right leg ]

" Now put your both hands in this thaal and mark your fingerprints on this wall " she said and I did and then we both entered in the house

As I entered the house Devansh got a call and he excused himself and walked away to take the call and soon my in laws started to introduce themselves

And soon everyone gathered around to play a game which was the game of the rings

Devansh was sitting in front of me and a big bowl was placed between us and filled with milk , vermillion and rose petals

" Bhabhi maa are you ready Diksha asked me " I nodded my head in agreement and then she told us the rules of the game

"Bhai and Bhabhi maa I will drop this ring in this bowl and the one who gets the ring more than one time will be the winner and it is said that the one who wins , rules the marriage in future "

And now everyone was deciding whose side they should take mine or Devansh " I am in bhabhi maa's team " finally Diksha said and then Nikhil , Kavya , Dadi sa , Maa and Kaki sa also joined her and Baba sa and Dada sa were in Devansh team

" And Bhai you have to use your right hand to find the ring while Bhabhi maa will use her left hand , so now let's start the game " she said

And then she took the rings and dropped them in the bowl and we both started to find the ring " c'mon Bhabhi maa you have to win " Nikhil said while cheering me

I was searching for it and my fingers touched his hands and then suddenly I found the ring and took out my hand from the bowl showing the ring and gave it to Diksha

" Bhabhi maa has won the first round Bhai " Kavya said and Devansh just nodded and Diksha again dropped the ring in the bowl but this time Devansh found the ring

" So it's the last round the one who will find the ring is the winner" She said and dropped the ring again

This time I found the ring and I took my hands out the bowl and gave the ring to Diksha " Bhabhi maa you won , now you will rule this marriage" she said excitedly and everyone chuckled on her behaviour

" Okay now everyone should go to their rooms and take some rest " Maa said " Diksha , kavya take your bhabhi too her room "

" Jii Maa sa " " Bhabhi maa let's go I will show you your room " Kavya said and everyone went towards their respective rooms while I Diksha and kavya where going towards Devansh's room

" Bhabhi maa if you need anything you can call me okay I am always there for you " she said " I will Diksha " I replied and she nodded " me too bhabhi maa you can call me anytime " Kavya said I smiled and nodded

" Bhabhi maa see this is yours and Bhai sa room now you should take some rest we both are leaving , Good night ". " Good night Diksha and Kavya " both nodded and left

I entered Devansh's room the bed was decorated with red roses and the room was lighting in the dim lights of the candles

I sat on the bed and after sometime Devansh came in the room as I saw him I got up from the bed because I want to tell him that I want to give this marriage a chance

He came forward where I was standing " I want to tell you something Miss Adhvika" he said I was little taken back by his words and why he is calling me Miss Adhvika

" Jii kahiye " I replied

[ Yes please ]

" I want to make some things clear Miss Adhvika" he said making me confused

" What do you mean" I asked

" Okay let me be clear " he said

" Miss Adhvika humne yeh shaadi sirf hamare Dada sa ke Khushi ke liye ki hai "

" Aap iss Ghar ki Bahu hai lekin humari patani nahi , aap sirf ek jimmedari hai humari jisse hum jaroor puri karenge "

Tears were flowing from my eyes , and my heart was shattered in million pieces " that's all I have to say " he said and left the room as left

I dropped myself on the floor and the marriage vows which we took together where repeating in my head the promise he did to my father was echoing in my head

" Kyu.... kyu Kiya appne humare saath aisa humari galti kya thi " I want to ask him but I don't know how when he was standing here I didn't said anything

I said this to myself and got up from the floor and I went towards the bathroom and changed my clothes I took the pillow and went towards the sofa

I placed the pillow on it and layed down but I couldn't sleep the words he said where still echoing in my head and making me cry

I closed my eyes and the vision of him filling my hairline with the vermillion and putting the nupital chain around my neck the marriage vows everything was coming in front of me

All the thoughts were roaming in my head and I don't know when sleep engulfed me
