3 | twins?

For today we have a shorter chapter. It just felt right to stop where I did :)

People were dancing, drinking and smoking. The vibes were good still everything was different from any high school party I'd been too.

The girls wore short VERY short, I mean pencil length short dresses or skirts, some pants but that was mainly what they wore and the guys plain basic stuff. Don't get me wrong I'm always down for a good mini or micro skirt.

But damn those girls were something else. I like it though.

Brooke was amongst those girls.

After we had walked in a group of girls had instantly walked up to us and got us drinks. Everyone introduced themselves and we chatted a little soon they left to the go dance. I stayed behind. I wasn't really in the mood after the day I had.

Back to where we left off in the previous chapter

So there were we.

On the ground.Staring into each others eyes.
The hell have I done to deserve this. It felt like we stayed like that for ages. I was too startled to say something and I think he felt the same way. Probably because I took him down with me when I fell; He didn't seem like the typa guy that you could easily get to tumble I somehow managed that though

And to those ages I was referring to they weren't even a minute.

He got up and once he was on his feet again he asked

"Plan on staying down there?"

I just looked at him flustered.

"Guess so." he said and just walked off.

What a jerk. I turned to see that no one expect Aiden had witnessed what happened.

The other jerk saw everything perfect. Just perfect.

"C'mon I'll help you up." said a voice behind me. A voice I would never misplace.

Cyrus.

"Thanks." I extended my hand he took it and pulled me to my feet.

"Mind letting me know why you were down there." he asked.

"Some dude took me down." I replied slightly annoyed. And he didn't even had the manners to help me up. Cy just nodded. Happens often enough i guess.

The rest of the night went smoothly. Around 3 we arrived at our dorm and went straight to bed.

Monday 6.02am

Sunday had been chill. Getting used to everything, preparing for my first day and girl talk with Brooke.

Now here I was in front of my car just like four days ago today I would be going to campus or the first actual time (excluding saturday but that shouldn't be mentioned anymore).

And if your wondering how I handled the guy who's name I'll never (hopefully) say again. I blocked him and deleted his number. I don't need that typa crap in my life so bye bye.

Enough rambling I only got 20 minutes to get to my first class and I never said what I would be studying: business administration.

On campus: 5 minutes untile class

Made it to class. I now only needed to find the lecture hall where my first class economics would be held but how would I get there? Brooke has class in the evening and before anyone assumes Cy is just gonna pop up out of no where you'd be mistaken. He has his first class in two hours and it's online so he won't be here today.

I probably stood there looking dumbfounded when a guy who seemed to know his way approached me. He looked familiar like...

the guy from that party... but more perfect now. His hair wasn't messy and his eyes weren't as piercing as the last time. This guy somehow didn't gave me the vibe that the guy saturday night gave off.

"Can I help you? You seem a little lost" he asked.

Ok so he isn't saturdays cocky guy.

"Yes, actually," I said

to both

"Could you maybe show me where the economics class takes place?"

"Sure thing. I was actually going there too... oh and btw I'm Xander." he said and smiled.

Definitely not him.

"Great and nice to meet you Melody." I smiled back and then we made our way to the lecture. On the way we talked about life n stuff y'all know the drill. We settled for seats in the middle so we wouldn't be in the front nor the back. Perfect place if you ask me.

The professor had entered the room and started with an introduction when I decided to ask Xander about his doppelganger.

"Yo quick question", i whispered.

"Hmm?" he asked.

"Do you have a twin or some cause I swear I saw a guy that looked just like you on Saturday?" I asked.

"Yeah I do," he said "If he slept with you and just left... I'm sorry he's just...like that I guess..."

"What! No!" I exclaimed a few students around us turned there heads, so I whispered "I was just wondering if his personality magically changed when you approached me cause you know... I thought you were him. Thanks for the warning though."

"You welcome?" he said "For the future though he has more tattoos than I do and he always lookes stooned, I don't. You'll probably get to know him pretty soon..." he smirked and turned his attention back on the professor.

I did the same.

The rest of the day passed in no time as soon as I had gotten there I was aready leaving. It was weird not as I expected is maybe more fitting I thought it would be more tiring. We'll take it as is it went too though.

I couldn't forget Xanders word's:

You'll probably get to know him pretty soon.

What's that supposed to mean? Do I even wanna know him? Not really to be completely honest.

And that was chapter three.

Who is this twin in question? And in Mels words how the hell can Xander be related to some guy like that?

It's actually crazy to me that this book already has three chapters. Like what 🤯
