𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 20

I froze as I turned around and stared at the woman I haven't seen in 16 year.

"Surprise!" She yelled with a smile on her face. Her hair Is insanely long and she has the body of an hour glass. Her skin looks soft and vibrant. She is a beautiful brown woman.

"Mama!" I ran to he almost knocking her over. "Hi, my baby" to be in her arms right now is the best thing I could ever ask for. My whole sped up even more. before I knew it everything went pitch black.

"Baby, get up." my mama said shaking me awake. She smiled and moved my hair out of my face. She had a beautiful smile. Everything about this woman was perfect. I couldn't help but to admire her beauty.

"Bae. tell me why you passed out with a smile on your face." Kobe said as he took a bite of his cake. I opened my mouth indicating that I want some. He bent down and tried to put his tongue in my mouth. My mom and his mom slapped the back of his neck at the same time.

"Ow! Man here I ain't even hungry no more." He said while handing me the plate. I couldn't help but laugh at his stupidity. The cake was so good and moist I could literally sit here and eat it all night.

"Slow down. You haven't even ate none of my food." My mom said while snatching the plate out of my hand. I smacked my lips but quickly covered my mouth.

"Thank you mom!" I yelled as she walked out the room. She threw a thumbs up at me. Kobe came up to me and sat on my lap. I smoothly grab his waist and bring him back onto my lap.

"Hey, wifey!" He yelled kicking his feet up and down and putting his face in my neck while squealing like a girl. I laughed as he shook me back and forth. I tried to calm him down but that only lead him to throwing a huge tantrum.

"Boy, get you bony butt off of me." I said and pushed him to the ground. He stared at me shocked as I got up. I laughed and ran into the kitchen with my mom.

"Mama, he trying to hit me!" I yelled running behind her while she was scooping some of her baked Mac-N-Cheese with chicken bites in it. It smelled like heaven in this kitchen I loved it.

"Mi hija, when am I going to get to meet my grand babies?" She asked completely ignoring the fact I'm being chased by a mad man.

"You can meet them tomorrow morning, if you wan- Kobe chill! Imma' stop I promise!" I yelled as he trapped me in a corner. He laughed at me and bit my lip.

"Kobe, let her go so she can come eat." My mama said while laughing at him. I smiled as I went around him to grab my plate and out of no where here comes this big back monster trying to eat up all my food.

I smacked his hand and bumped him with my hip. His dramatic ass flew to the next room. I rolled my eyes as Kiya stepped over him and came to me. She grabbed a fork off of the rack and shoved it into my mac-n-cheese but before she even got to eat it Kobe bit the portion off of her silverware causing her to gasp. I couldn't help but laugh at her a she beat his back with the palm of her hand.

"If y'all don't stop Imma' whoop yall ass!" Vanessa yelled while grabbing the deviled egg tray for her and her friends. I continued to eat my food as I watched the kitchen tv.

"Asia, can you come here for a minute my love." I hear my mom call from outside. I grabbed my plate and walk towards the glass sliding doors. I took a soft slow inhale of the crisp midnight air. It was beautiful out here. I feel like I've accomplished so much within the last 5 years. I got with the love of my life, made a family, own my own business, created a platform for my business to help the homeless, moving into my own home, and now I got my mom back. I just feel like bursting into tears.

"Mi hija, I'm so proud of you! My only daughter grown up to become this. Your father would be so proud." she said as she hugged me tightly. I smiled emotionally as I thought of him. I missed him so much. There's not a second of my day where I don't think of him. I wish I could visit him sometimes but he strictly ordered for us not to be in Mexico. It was danger to all of us.

I don't know what type of business he runs down there but whatever kind it is, is very dangerous. I personally think he should retire and give the job to Marlon, my cousin. Marlon is a very responsible man, he's like a brother to me. I'm starting to miss home now.

"Thank you, Mama. I'm so glad your home. This first time mom thing has me nervous cause I don't know what I'm doing and I need some guidance." I smiled. She nodded her head and took my hands into her soft ones. She is so beautiful. 5'5 brown skin, lengthy hair, chubby, with chocolate brown eyes. She had a mole just a little below her eye and neck tattoos around her neck.

"I am too." She said kissing my forehead.

"Would you, your fiance, and the kids like to come to Mexico with me next month. I'm going down there to see your father because he had questions about my case and things." I bit my lip from excitement. Of course, I want to go I just didn't know how to form the words.

"Yes, I would love to!"
