My Beloved Enemy [GeminiFourth] ON HOLD

Chapter 9

Fourth's POV

Fourth woke up when he heard the curtains open, He realised his mother had once again barged in without knocking on the door, Well what do you expect it's an Asian household.

"Mom, It's still 6 in the morning" Fourth reached for his phone on the side table and looked at the time.

"So your dad and I are going to my sister's wedding"

"Huh, what about me I also want to go" Fourth whined as he rolled the comforter around himself.

"You have your classes and it's your crucial year," His mother crossed her arms as she ordered him,

"Still" Fourth whined once again.

"Whatever we are leaving and the keys are where they are supposed to be also don't forget to call me at night" His mother stepped out of the room,

Fourth was fully awake now, He tried to sleep again but couldn't.

In the end, he was standing in front of his house with the keys in his hand.

"What a great start."

Fourth was set on confessing his feelings to Gemini, This is the last time he would ever think of Gemini as more than friends.

Fourth on the way bought two banana milk, as it will help him to bribe Gemini.

Coincidentally Fourth bumped into Prom on his way,

"Damn lover boy, What will you do if he rejects you"

"I already know he will"

"There are no chances as Gemini is dating Prim, I don't think he would Cheat on her, especially with you," Prom said trying to hold his laughter

"Haha very funny" Fourth rolled his eyes.

"But seriously,"

"Do you think this is a good idea because Gemini is dating Prim and also if things become awkward it can ruin our last four to five weeks of hard work on the project," Fourth said as he looked at the milk he bought.

"I don't know it's your choice to make, I can just support you. But not in assassinating people"

"How many times are you going to use the same joke?" Fourth slapped Prom's head in annoyance.

Fourth knew that confessing before the project could ruin his friend's work, what if everything becomes awkward? What if Prim starts hating Fourth too? If he hadn't bumped into Prom he wouldn't be overthinking right now.

"Fine, you can I have this" Fourth almost handed a bottle of banana milk to Prom,

"Thanks, friend but I already bought two for me and my Girlfriend" Prom raised two strawberry milk to prove his statement.

"Whatever then I'll just give them to Prim and Gemini then, As Friends obviously"

"Hmm"

Prom was once again teasing Fourth, They welcomed themselves with uncontrollable laughter as the topic of conversation drifted from teasing Fourth to making fun of a popular anime they watched last night.

As Fourth laid eyes on the person sitting in front minding his own business he slid one bottle on Prim's desk and handed one to Gemini.

Fourth didn't want to ruin everyone's hard work due to his selfishness.

Fourth was lying on the desk his gaze still fixed on the taller, Him drinking the milk Fourth gave him, made him a little happy.

"What do you think about this" Prom asked Fourth tapping his shoulders as they were discussing the funniest meme.

"So adorable" Fourth answered unconsciously.

"What do you mean dude, I'm talking about this." Prom covered Fourth's eyes with his phone's screen,

"Yeah Yeah it is really funny, haha" Fourth said taking out his books for Mrs Fah's Class.

Mrs Fah came into the class with a little surprised test, The subject in which Fourth lagged the most.

Him face-palming himself was a normal reflex action.

Eventually, Fourth was caught and was told to sit in front, Fourth had given up the hope of passing this exam.

He had overthought it before but he was sure now, that today was filled with bad luck.

When Gemini willingly offered help to Fourth, Fourth knew deep inside that Gemini didn't hate him, Maybe Gemini is not as expressive as everyone but, his actions tell a lot.

Fourth was shocked when Gemini helped him but was very grateful as well.

So offering an Ice cream treat would be the least he could do. Besides it can help him to become Gemini's friend, getting rejected by a friend is a lot better than getting rejected by your so-called enemy.

Fourth was so thrilled for tomorrow. He knows he won't confess anytime soon, but that 'soon' will eventually come.

Fourth was kind of relieved knowing that He and Gemini could talk like normal people for a little longer. 

After Fourth starts to talk to Gemini nicely, Gemini doesn't ignore him, nor he is as rude as he was before.

Fourth's parents were supposed to return after the wedding tomorrow evening.

Fourth wanted to congratulate his aunt but due to his failing grade in English and this 12th grade, he can't go.

"Today wasn't as bad as I thought" Fourth smiled as he buried his face in the pillow. 

Fourth couldn't get a blink of an eye, with eye bags under his eyes. He freshened himself, and made himself look as presentable as possible,

Fourth slicked his hair back and showered himself with his favourite perfume. Fourth was sure Gemini would like this scent.

He kept his wallet and everything else he needed, it was past afternoon, He knew that his parents could come back home anytime, so he wanted this hangout to only last for two to three hours.

Fourth had already informed Prom about everything, Prom wanted this to be a double date but, Fourth had kicked the senses out of him, This was just a hangout and besides Gemini was already taken.

A few minutes had passed Fourth was looking for Gemini in front of a mall. 

Fourth had already texted Gemini about the location and stuff.

Fourth was surprised when he saw that someone had maybe put up the same effort as him, Gemini looked stunning, But looking like that for an ice cream treat from a friend, was a little suspicious.

"Finally you are here let's go inside" Fourth grabbed Gemini's hand and brought him inside.

Gemini was surprised but let the shorter do anything he wanted.
