Okay. So I made up a little town called "Ravenhearst". It's in California just next to the town of San Simeon. That's where all the characters in my story lives just like in my other story, "All Too Well". Please check out that story if you have time..

Btw, I do not own the name of William Randolph Hearst (he is mentioned in here). He was a great US newspaper publisher who changed American journalism.

Chapter 2

Jillian's POV

I screamed again when I looked back to see who tapped my shoulder. Black piercing eyes stared back at me. His face was very familiar. Oh my gosh, I remembered him! Oh no, I'm going to die! Dear God, please take care of my parents and my idiot brothers. I do hope they wouldn't find my diaries in my room. I'm sure they'd just laugh at my darkest secrets there and I would definitely haunt them if that's the last thing that I will do. Even though I'm still not ready to die yet, I'll still welcome you Lord with open arms because I strongly believe everything happens for a reason. Even though I totally missed out a lot in my life like having a boyfriend, being kissed, going on a date and a whole lot more. Maybe it's part of your plan for me. If you think God that it's my time to depart the world, then I'll fully accept it even though I'll be killed in the hands of a devious killer. I--

"What are you doing here, young lady?" the stranger with the face of a heinous killer who will slaughter me anytime said disturbing my prayer to God. His voice was really raspy and intimidating which made me shudder even more.

"Um..I'm going to college here. This is my first year," I replied trying to be brave so that I can think of my next move. What should I do? Punch him in the gut or kick him in the place where the sun doesn't shine? I don't know! I'm panicking already!

"Well, you are too early for school. It's only 6 am," he said sternly while looking at his watch. "The bad news is that the school is still close."

I frowned after hearing that. There's still time for him to eat me but I should stay positive and try to be friendly. I faked a smile and said, "Bummer. I'll just head home and return later. Bye!" I tried to walk away, but his hand grabbed me.

Oh my gosh. My mind is already spinning like a top thinking of what I'm going to do next so I did the most expected but reasonable thing. I screamed again.

"Jesus. Calm down, young lady. Why do you keep on screaming!" the stranger complained and he looked really annoyed. Well, it's not my fault that he grabbed me first! "I'm just trying to stop you since I have the keys to the gates. I'm Mr. Hannibal and I'm the vice-principal of Ravenhearst University. Welcome to the university!"

No freaking way. I just met the vice-principal of Raven-U! I thought he was some kind of flesh-eating individual. I also screamed at him so many times. I must apologize to him at once.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Hannibal for all the screaming awhile ago. I just drank a lot of coffee today and that's why I'm being jumpy and paranoid. I will not do it again," I lied to him hoping he will believe my excuse. My heart was beating so fast and my fingers were shaking like person with Parkinson's disease would do as I kept apologizing to the man before me why I screamed. That dude just looked at me in a weird way after I said sorry a lot of times. What's wrong with him? He was the one who scared me first.

Well, he can't blame me since he looked like the cannibal dudes from the movie series "Wrong Turn". You know, the guys who have disfigured faces and loves torturing people who are still alive while eating their body parts one by one. Who wouldn't scream if you thought of that? I'm really glad that I didn't run away and yell, 'Please don't eat me' since that would totally freak him out. It would totally give the vice-principal of Ravenhearst University or what students sometimes call Raven-U a bad first impression of myself.
