Branch sits in silence while Viva is still sleeping
With sadness and quiet beeping filling the room, Branch just stands there.
He doesn't want to wake Viva, he stands next to Viva, with his hand on the railing
Viva's heart monitor's beeping starts becoming more distinct...
Branch looks over to the monitor
The beeping starts getting faster...
Branch looks back towards Viva then back at the monitor
Her heart rate jumps from 50bpm to 70bpm
It starts beeping even faster; 90bpm, 110bpm
Branch runs out of the room
-SOMEBODY!! HELP! Branch yells
-WE NEED HELP!! Branch yells in the hallway
Branch looks back at Viva's heart monitor
120bpm 140bpm
2 nurses rush in the room
-We need an AED immediately!! One nurse yells, running out of the room
The other nurse runs to a little cabinet and grabs a little container of liquid and a needle
The nurse quickly stabs the top of the tiny bottle with the needle and she injects some of the liquid in the needle then injects it into Viva's iv bag
Branch doesn't know what to do, he just stands up in horror, with his heart racing.
The other nurse comes running back in
-Sir I'm going to have to ask you to vacate the room please, just medical personnel only. We need as much space as we can. The nurse hurriedly says
Viva flatlines
Before Branch can say anything the nurse walks Branch out of the room.
Right as Branch reaches the other side of the hallway 2 more medical personnel roll a cart with some medical looking stuff on it.
The nurse that walked out with Branch entered the room
Branch painfully watches from outside the room
He sees a nurse putting 2 metal things across Viva's chest.
-1, 2, 3, CLEAR! The doctor says using an AED(Defibrillator)
Viva jumps a bit but she's still flatlining
-Give me a higher charge! The same doctor yells
Viva jump again but she's still flatlining.
A nurse from another room walks up to Branch
-why don't you give the doctors some space, come over to the waiting room. The nurse says, walking with Branch down to the waiting room
The nurse didn't want Branch to watch that.
They get the the waiting room and they sit Branch down
-There's multiple medical professionals in that room with her. They'll do the best that they can. The nurse says reassuring him
