'Branch, please we need her!'

Branch slowly creaks open the door and peeks his head in.

"This seems to be Creeks bedroom..." Branch thinks to himself

The giant self portrait of Creek above his four poster bed being perfectly illuminated by the moonlight through the 1 big window on the wall right across from the bed.

Stepping into the room more, making sure to keep the door a little agar, to make sure it doesn't lock behind Branch

Branch looks around the room some more.

Because of the lack of light, Branch is only able to see a quarter of the room, Branch sees nothing out of the ordinary.

Heading back out of the room and past the staircase again.

Branch sees many rooms down the right side of the hall, but one standing out from all the rest... the light is on and the door is creaked open just enough...

Branch looks around him, checking over his shoulder for anyone behind him. He sees no one.

Slowly Branch walks over to the lit room and grabs onto the door handle.

Slowly and quietly he twists the door knob

Branch cautiously opens the door

As he opens the door he sees what's inside...

A staircase

A long staircase..

Branch enters the stairwell and begins his descent down the stairs

As he looks around himself he takes his first few steps

The stone walls are covered in spiders and the floors are covered in glass.

Stepping around the glass, Branch makes it to the bottom of the stairs where he uncovers a labyrinth of rooms with almost no light in sight. Only being lit by a few dim and some flashing light bulbs

Branch has never seen a lightbulb before..

Branch steps foot onto the cold stone room with hallways and rooms in all directions

He walks up to his first room

It's just empty..

He walks up to the second

This one has things like, school desks, chairs and trash bags thrown around.

Branch searches one room after another, finding no one, just trashed, empty rooms, void of life.

Branch searches what feels to be his 225th room, he hears what sounds like someone talking..

it's a man

Branch's heart begins to race

He snapped his head in the direction of the voice with his heart beating what feels to be a million beats per second

Branch notices a room, the only room with the door shut. It's a room Branch hasn't entered yet..

Slowly and quietly Branch walks to the door, trying to not make a single sound

Branch arrives to the shut door

He hears that voice again..

Branch carefully puts his ear on the door to listen

"Oh, oh, Poppy... how weak you've become. This whole village will thank you; and your daughter for your remarkable sacrifices."

Branch gets more worried

"Well, that time has come. Excuse me for a few minutes, looks like I have something to tend to" Creek says as he walks out through another door on the opposite side of the room

Branch quietly and slowly turns the handle on the door and opens the door ever so slowly..

Branch peeks his head in and sees a wide room with a jail cell taking up half of it, with the whole room only being lit by a small lightbulb.

With Creek not in the room, Branch steps in and walks up to the cell

Rushing up to the cell, Branch places his hands on the bars, and looks inside

In the cell lies Poppy lying lifeless on the ground with Daisy in her arms.

With both of them lifeless on the ground, Branch whispers "Poppy! ....Daisy!"

Branch waits for a second..

No reaction

Whispers a little louder "Poppy! Daisy!"

Branch waits a few agonizing seconds for a response..

No response.

Giving Poppy an extra few seconds in hope that she'll respond..

Branch jumps at the sound of the door handle turn, breaking the silence

In a quick rush Branch runs over to a desk in the corner of the room a few feet from the wall and hides behind it

Right as Branch gets behind the desk the door swings open

Wanting to know who's there, Branch swings his head out from the side of the desk to look

Branch's fists clench as he sees who it is..

Creek.

Branch is so close to winning this battle, but one screw up can mess all of this up

Creek begins to laugh with his hands behind his back as he looks down at Poppy and Daisy

This action fills Branch with an unbelievable amount of anger

Branch clenches his fists, eyes dilate, eyesight narrows

With Creek being distracted, Branch uses this as an opportunity..

Branch picks up the desk with his hair and launches it at Creek, throwing him past the cage into the other corner

Creek, with the wind blown out of him doesn't have any time to recover till he sees Branch standing over him

A few seconds go by with Branch staring into Creeks soul with an angry look on his face

Terrified, Creek says: "P- Please Branch! Th- They're saving our c- city! W- We need them!"

Staring blankly into Creeks eyes Branch grabs him by the foot, turns around and places Creeks foot on his shoulder

Branch then throws Creek over his shoulder, smashing his face on the ground, knocking him out

A key falls out of Creeks pocket

Branch sees it

After a moment

Branch picks it up and walks over to the door to unlock it

Branch swings the door open and runs over to Poppy and Daisy

"Poppy! Daisy!" Branch says worried as he falls to his knees next to them

Looking at their lifeless bodies Branch feels for a heartbeat on both of them....

He checks Poppy...

He feels a heartbeat!

He checks Daisy's...

He feels a slow heartbeat...

Branch picks up Poppy and Daisy in his arms and carries them out of the cell and places them on the ground.

Then Branch hears a noise...
