Emilia's POV
Joe broke her promise. It's been 3 months since we last talked. We talked on the phone all the time the first three weeks of her being at Harvard but then one day she just stopped calling.
I thought, maybe she's busy. She's always busy. She changed her number and deleted all her social media. I talked to her parents and they said they tried to talk to her.
My friends helped me a lot. They helped me when I was crying over her, when I was tempted to go see her. They've been the best friends I could have ever asked for. We stay together in an apartment close to uni.
"Hey guys" Mia said as she sat in front of me and Luca."hey" luca and I said in unison. Thato's in a class right now she'll be out in a few minutes.
After a few minutes Thato joined us so we decided to go home. We drove in my car today. When we arrived home Mia and I started making dinner while Luca and Thato cleaned the apartment.
They all sat down on our round dining table as I set their plates of spaghetti in front of them.I'm happy with this. I'm happy with what I have now. I'm grateful for my friends.
"Guys Jake came out" Luca said with a smile. They've been dating for a while now. "We're so happy for you!" Thato said as she nudged him.
We started eating dinner and talk about how our classes.
