A/N - Sorry guys! As you've noticed, I have to start posting very sporadically has I have a lot going on in my life right now. But whenever I have time to write and post, I will. Enjoy!
"YOU'RE CHANGING SCHOOLS?!" Emily exclaimed. I sighed and nodded. I'm currently with my mom so I can't withdrawal from school but I texted Emily to meet me in the school restroom so I can say goodbye. I'm really hoping that Steven asks her to move to Flawless too so that I don't have to say a forever goodbye; just a see you later goodbye.
"I got into a boarding school for gifted children and my mom wants me to go." I told her and she facepalmed herself. "How far is the school? When did you find out? Are you leaving the school today?!" She asked me and I sighed. This is harder than I thought it would be. "It's pretty far." I told her, knowing that was the understatement of the year. "And I just found out yesterday but yes I am leaving today. That's why my mom and I are here." I told her honestly. "You'll at least come to visit often thought right?" She asked. "Extremely often." I said, smiling and giving her a hug. "Wait, what about Aiden? Is he following you to boarding school?" She asked. "Well, yeah we're still together and he knows about the move." I told her. It felt so weird telling her all of these half truths. Steven really needs to hurry up and tell her. "How are you and Steven doing?" I asked her and she immediately started smiling. "He asked me to be his boyfriend!" She exclaimed and I gasped. "Omg really?!" I said, squealing with her and giving her a hug. That can only mean one thing! He's going to tell her soon! "Yeah we're supposed to have a date tonight to celebrate." She said. "Well let me know how it goes. Make sure you tell me EVERYTHING!" I told her and she giggled. "Of course! Who else would I tell about my magical boyfriend?"
Emily and I finished saying our goodbyes and I met back up with my mom to withdrawal from the school. After that, my mom and I head out to the car. "So I was thinking you should get your nails done to celebrate your move in!" My mom said with excitement. "Omg yes! That sounds like fun! Here or in Flawless?" I asked and my mom laughed before saying "Nice try. I'm under strict orders to keep you away from Flawless while Aiden does his thing." My mom said and I rolled my eyes. Part of me is really excited to see what this big surprise is. However, an another part of me is impatient and wants to know the surprise now. Plus, I miss Aiden since I haven't really seen him since yesterday and the last time I heard from him was a text teasing me about the surprise. "Trying to make sure this surprise is as ticklish as possible." He said.
What could he possibly be planning?!
After I finished getting my nails done, my mom dropped me off at home, saying she had some errands to run. So, I went ahead into the house and decided to make myself a snack and watch some TV in the living room.
--------
After my second episode of Avatar, I thought I heard someone or something in the kitchen. I quickly paused the TV to see if I heard the sound again but nothing happened so I sighed my sigh of relief and pressed play on my TV show. Not even 5 minutes later, I felt someone wrap one arm around my waist and use the other hand to cover my eyes so I couldn't see. I didn't panic though because I knew exactly who it was. "What are you doing Aiden?" I asked him. "Actually, i'm not Aiden." A female voice said before appearing before me. "Poppy?" I questioned, now sitting up. "Yep. I'm here to escort you." She said, pulling out a blindfold from one of her pockets. "Escort me where?" I frowned. "I can't tell you that silly!" She giggled. "Also, you have to put this on." She said, handing me the blindfold. "Seriously?" I asked. "I promise it will be worth it. Now come on. Aiden is waiting for you." She said and I blushed at the thought of that, quickly putting on my blindfold. "Are you ready?" She asked once I had secured my blindfold and I nodded. "Alright. Let's go." She said, holding my hand before transporting us to God knows where.
When we arrived, I still couldn't really see anything because of the blindfold. "Okay I'm going to lead you to the place and then you'll take your blindfold off okay?" She asked and I nodded as she started to walk me down a path. "Aiden really put a lot of thought into this. He really really likes you." Poppy said, making me blush. "I really really like him too." I told him, causing her to squeeze my hand. "Yeah I can tell by how much you're blushing right now." She giggled, making me laugh. "Hey!" I giggled out. "I just say the truth!" She said. "Alright! We're here so I'm going to go. You can go ahead and take off your blindfold. Bye!" She said. "What? Wait!" I exclaimed as I felt her hand vanish from mine. I quickly took off my blindfold to figure out where I was and honestly couldn't believe my eyes. "Oh my gosh." I gasped. I was at Heart Field, which was one of the first places Aiden took me when we first met. It looked very different now though because I was standing on a rose petalled path under this beautiful flower canopy. I couldn't really tell what the path led to but I could tell I was supposed to walk down the path.
As I started to walk down the path, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I look to my right and saw what looked like a hologram of Aiden smirking at me. "Hi beautiful." He smirked, walking towards me. "Aiden?" I questioned as he reached me. I got really confused when he was able to touch me though. Holograms usually go right through you. He took my hand in his, turned me around and wrapped his arms around me from behind. "You know, from the first day I saw you I knew I would fall for you." He whispered, digging his fingers into my hips. I giggled and tried to push him away but he held on to me tighter. "I can't wait to spend my life with you." he whispered, kissing my neck before vanishing into thin air.
That was interesting to say the least.
I shrugged it off, still blushing from what he said, and then continued walked down the path. However, I didn't make it far before I felt another Aiden hologram pick me up from behind and spin me around in circles, digging his fingers into my sides. "AIDEN QUIT IT!" I giggled out. "I don't think I ever will." He chuckled out. "I will never get tired of that smile." He said, putting me down and turning me around to face him. "Are you seriously going to keep making me blush like this?" I giggled as he went in for a kiss. "That's the plan." He whispered right before he kissed me and vanished into thin air. I didn't quite understand how he was doing this but this hold thing gave me more butterflies that I could ever imagine.
More "Aidens" continued to appear to tickle me, compliment me, and kiss me up until I reached the end of the pathway. When I did, there was the real Aiden standing there with a suit on. He was standing in front of a rose bush that was in the shape of a heart and there was beautiful candles making a big circle around him and the rose bush heart. He looked so nervous but also so adorable. "Hi Alaina." He said, walking up to me. I walked towards him, giving him the biggest hug ever. He chuckled and hugged me back. "You do realize there's more to the surprise right?" He teased and I frowned. "There is?" I asked as I came out of the hug. "Alaina, you're the most beautiful person I've ever met both inside and out." He said, making me smile. "I'm so blessed that you decided to spend the rest of your life with me here in Flawless." He added. "Even though we're too young to get engaged, there's another tradition we have here for young couples such as ourselves." He said as he got down on one knee, making me gasped. "I love you Alaina. Would you do me the honor of being my smile?" He said before opening a jewelry box to show a beautiful diamond heart locket, making my heart flutter. I started blushing and felt myself getting emotional as I nodded my head yes. "Oh thank GOD!" He said before grabbing me and spinning me around. "SHE SAID YES!" He yelled out as he put me down. "YES!" I heard Aiden's mom exclaim from behind me. I turned around to see his family and my parents running towards us. "Congratulations sweetie!" My mom said as both she and my dad engulfed me in a hug. "This is the cutest thing I've ever seen!" My dad said as they let go of me. "And asking her to be your smile? So adorable!" My mom said, wiping away her tears which made Aiden laugh. "I'm so glad you said yes cutie. Welcome to the family!" Aiden's mom said, hugging me. "And now, for the moment we've all been waiting for..." Aiden announced, taking my hand in his. "Our room is finished."
