We leave different directions to our house. We say bye. I turn around and start walking down my street. He calls my name. "Claire! Wait". I turn around so we're face to face, and he stares into my eyes, and I stare into his. Then he slowly, leaned toward me...... And gave me the softest and warmest kiss on the edge of my lip. "See you tomorrow" he says as he runs sideways down his street. "B...bye" I say in a shaky yet happy way. I check to see he's not there anymore, and dance around with my rose and kiss. I run to my house and zoom into my room. "Hey hey hey! What's all the excitement?!" Yells mom. "Uhhhh, hi!" I screech as I hide the rose behind my back. Mom stares at me like a hawk. Raising her eyebrows and tapping her foot. "I've never seen you this excited after school since Halloween." Says mom. "Nope, nope... Just really jumpy from candy today" I lie. "Uh huh, ok" mom says in a strict and somewhat sarcastic way. She slammed my door and walked down the stairs. I call him up. We talk and he says we should meet up for a "date" sometime. I agree.
