Goodbye

The dance

Today is the day that the dance is starting. Chairs and ribbons and flowers and chandeliers and red carpets and shiny wooden floors, oh and the Princess of love and King of love special stage!! "Hey so don't be worried about tonight, it's gonna be great" he said while pinning my hair back with his fingers. "No no. I'm not worried, it's just... I'm a little nervous because it's my first dance with my biggest crush." I explain to him. "I don't want you to be nervous, I want you to be the cute funny Claire I know. I don't want a nervous girlfriend." He said to me in the nicest way. "Ok, ok" I said back to him. "Alright then I'll see you tonight, bye" he said. "See Ya" I kinda mumbled. I ran home to put my dress on and my makeup. I immediately put on my dress. And I combed my hair and put it up in a pony tail and curled the ends. Then I put on a light pink and a lavender color for my eye shadow and a cat eye for eyeliner. Then I put on some blush and some bb cream to make my face pop out and glow with shimmer. I ran down stares to give mom and dad a hug. They didn't very much care about my clothing and makeup. I could tell mom was a little worried, but still happy. Melissa picked me up, and we drove to the dance. When I walked in with Melissa, we stood at the door as everyone stared at us, then went back to talking and dancing and other stuff. "Ok well have fun, I'm going to look for Zack, bye" Melissa says. "Ok, bye" I said back. I walked around till he finally bumped into my shoulder. "Hey" I say softly. "Hello beautiful" he says even softer. He grabs my hand and pulls me to the dance floor. "May I have this dance" he said while the soft love song came on. "Of course" I said. We danced and danced, then went outside. "Thank you so much" I said to him as we sat on a bench. "No problem" he says back. I look away for a second then the next thing I know he turns my face around to him and lightly kisses my lips. "I love you so much, Claire" he explains. "Oh my gosh, I love you more!!" I say. He grabbed my cheeks, and we kissed slowly. We kissed for about 30 seconds. Then we hear that they are going to announce the king and queen. We imedietly run inside, "the king is, him!!! Everyone stares at him as he walks up the stage and puts the crown on, and the queen is.... Claire!!" I was shocked, clapping and cheering?! Wow! "Whatever loser!" Yelled Jessica. I walked up the stage as I saw Jessica leave with her friends. They gave me a beautiful sparkly crown, and congratulated us. We walked out side with roses and our crown, and kissed. "I've got to go. I had an amazing night, thank you" I said to him. "I love you babe" he says to me. "Goodnight" we say at the same time. I call mom to pick me up. It was too dark to walk home. She picked me up. I went to sleep....
