Aisho Tatsuo's POV:
"Hey look at that." Hotaru said, pointing at Mitsuo's hand. I felt disgusting to look, but I did anyways. His hands were pulled up to his chest, as if he had them up to his chest when he died."I'm guessing he was attempting to escape..." Hotaru sighed. "It's a shame that one as young as he is died..." For once, I agreed with Hotaru. Whoever did this was sick-
Wait.
Last night.
I walked through the metal door and pressed the button. I waited for a few seconds....
Nothing.
"I guess it really is broken..." I shrugged.
Did I...
Did I do it? Was it possible that it worked without me even knowing? Did I... did I kill him?
NEW EVIDENCE: Signs of Attempted Escape
I felt Hotaru grab my wrist and pull me away. "Hey, Aisho. You seem off... you okay?" He asked. I nodded. "I'm just in shock..." I mumbled. "Someone could do something so horrible... so despicable..." He nodded.
"We need to investigate the main room." He said. "We can see if there's something wrong there..." I nodded, too shocked to say anything, and too scared to investigate. "I'll stay out here and investigate." I said. Hotaru nodded and walked away.
Hotaru Tsukino's POV:
I know something else is bothering him, but the fool won't budge. Oh well. Not my problem. My problem is someone decided to kill again... and I have a suspect in mind already.
As I walked around to the back of the room, I noticed a large lump. I gasped. It was a person. They were spread out on the floor, a metal pipe beside their head. "Did... did someone else die?" I asked myself. That's when a miracle happened.
They started moving. "Ugh. Where the... where am I?" Katashi Yamauchi asked. I looked at him. "You really don't know?" I questioned. He shook his head. "Well, it all started this morning when we arrived at Mitsuo's party. When we got here, Aisho pressed that red button that uncovers the pool and we found Mitsuo..." I explained. Katashi frowned.
"W-What?! Mitsuo..." He asked, scratching at his beard. "I can't remember last night." Katashi said. "All I can remember is I was working on the button and I felt something hit my head..."
"So, what do you mean by 'working on the button?'" I asked. He closed his eyes. "The mechanisms in the damn thing were messed up. It wouldn't close, which caused the pool to get all nasty. Mitsuo spent all day cleaning it, and I came over around eight to work on it, did some tinkering with it and found the problem, so then I went back to my apartment and grabbed what I needed. I replaced the parts and after that, it's all a blur." Katashi explained.
I nodded. I didn't really believe his story, but what he told me so far checked out.
NEW EVIDENCE: Katashi's Account
Before I could ask anything else, the door swung open. Kumiko Sugawara, Toshio Ashikaga, and Kazuko Hachimitsu ran through the door. "Is... is it true?" Kumiko asked. "Was there really another body found?" I wasn't sure I could tell her, so I just pointed at the pool room.
