Red Keep, King's Landing

One could only hear how everyone present in the throne room was talking to each other in whispered conversations. All wondering how could it be that the Crown Princess had had a daughter, and no one knew about it?

A bastard daughter, with the sworn sword of the queen herself. Ser Criston Cole, who has been part of several controversies since he was sworn in as Kingsguard, would he have had any knowledge of this child?

What happened to that child? Where did she go? Will she have Valyrian features like the Princess or will she have inherited the Dornish blood of Ser Criston? These were some of the questions that echoed around the room.

"Everyone, who is not the Princess Rhaenyra, Prince Daemon, Ser Criston Cole, Ser Harrold or our guests from Valyria, I want you all out of the throne room!" King Viserys said as he rose from his throne with the help of his wooden staff.

"But, Your Grace!" said Otto to the King. "The Small Council must be present at this discussion. This situation may destabilize the kingdom. When the other lords learn that Princess Rhaenyra had a bastard daught-"

"This is a matter between my daughter, my brother and me!" exclaimed the King as he raised his tone of voice, while turning his body to look at Otto. "I want you all out of the room!"

"Even me?" asked queen Alicent as she looked at the King angrily, standing in front of her children. Prince Aegon watching the commotion like it was a duel, Princess Helaena murmuring something under her breath while picking at her nails, and Prince Aemond with his eye patch, standing stoically in between his siblings. "I am the queen, your wife, Viserys. And my children, OUR children, are Targaryens too. We have every right to remain in this room. We have every right to be present during a discussion that could harm all of us!"

"AND I AM THE KING!" exploded King Viserys against his wife's words. "And when I command something, I expect EVERYONE to do it! AND I SAID THAT I WANT EVERYONE OUT OF HERE!"

Silence reigned inside the throne room.

And it wasn't until queen Alicent, with a face full of indignation and without another word, turned and walked directly toward the massive doors of the room. Behind her, she was followed by a wide-eyed Prince Aegon, who seemed to want to stay and listen to what was going to be said in the room, with Princess Helaena was behind them, at a hurried pace.

Prince Aemond stood still in his place for a moment, fixing his gaze on the King, clenching his jaw. Realizing that his lord grandfather put his hand on his shoulder and was about to open his mouth, the prince turned in the direction of the door, heading for it and disappearing down the hall.

Otto, observing how the wizards were watching everything that had happened, some with faces full of astonishment, others full of anger, and others without any expression, and seeing that his daughter and grandchildren were not present to support him, he bowed slightly to the King and left the room in annoyance, accompanied by the members of the Small Council and the rest of the people present.
