Chapter Five

Reconnect

After months had went by, gaining at least one more guest.

Sir Pentious and his Egg boiz, everyone has been doing very well. Charlie was able to have a meeting with Adam, but it didn't go very well. As the next extermination was going to happen in six months. So, everyone was pretty worried about that.

"My! Look who is up early! And drinking too?" Alastor smirked at the fallen angel before him, as Husk rose a brow along with Lumina. "It's apple juice..." Lumina chuckled, as Alastor shrugged. "Are you that scared to drink a little, after all. You don't ever plan to return to heaven anyways, so why not have some fun!" He stood beside her. "It's alright, I don't really care for the alcohol taste." Lumina has tried a few drinks, but just never could take a liking to it. "If you say so, deary." He chuckled, while staring over at Charlie who was panicking over her whole white board.

"How long has she been awake?" Alastor asked, as Lumina looked over at Charlie as well. "Way too early." She replied, watching the Princess of hell and Vaggie now talking to each other.
It was cute seeing Vaggie be so close to Charlie, though Vaggie eventually needed to tell Charlie that she was also a fallen angel.

"Heya Lum~ are you up for a drinking game again?" Angel Dust teased the angel, as she frowned. Remembering that drinking game far too well. "I'm going to pass...and pass on all the future drinking games." He couldn't help but to chuckle at her response. "Alright, but the seat is always open!" Husk poured a cup of alcohol for Angel, as he drank from it. Starring over at Charlie, who was now on the phone.

"Who is she calling?" Lumina asked, wondering.

"Her dad, to see if he could get her a meeting to heaven." Angel Dust took another sip from his cup, turning back around to face Husk. "You know, I've never met the king of hell before. So this will be interesting if he does come." Angel stated, as Lumina rose a brow.

"I doubt he'll show up." Lumina stared at the glass filled with apple juice. This caught Alastors attention, as he hummed. "Whats this I hear? You're doubting the King of hell, as almost if you know him yourself!~" Alastor smirked, leaning closet to the fallen angel who backed up a bit from him being too close.

"I-uh...I'm just guessing..." She lied, while looking away. Alastor could tell she must have some sort of history with Lucifer, but he unfortunately wouldn't get that out of her.

"Guys!! Dad agreed to come over!" Charlie said excitedly for everyone to hear, though it really was only the small group that was either at the bar or the lobby. Lumina spat her drink out, shocked Lucifer was actually going to be visiting. Angel Dust quickly patting her back as she almost choked on the drink as well.

"Geez, you good?" Angel asked, as Lumina nodded her head slowly. "Y-yeah." Managing to spew out a short response, her hand rubbing her neck.
Lucifer was actually going to visit his daughter, after never wanting to before. Something must of changed his mind. Her eyes fixated on the half empty cup or juice before her. "By that response, I don't think I believe you now." Alastor smirked, leaning in to see her face was flushed. "I need to get some fresh air..." Lumina ignored Alastor, as she pushed herself away from the bar.

She couldn't deal with Alastor just taunting to get information out of her, as she certainly didn't want to mention she knew Lucifer. Lumina almost wondered if she still was angry with Lucifer, or perhaps it was something more complex?

Lucifer stood at the entrance of the hotel, feeling anxious about seeing his daughter again. After such a long time, but here he was now. His hand nervously adjusting the bow tie, as he knocked on the door. Which to him, it felt like forever until someone finally opened up the door. Revealing his daughter, feeling his heart race with happiness. "Charlie!" He expressed, throwing his arms around her, into a tight hug.
Which Charlie seemed a little uncomfortable, as she hasn't seen her father in awhile. "Hey dad~" She laughed awkwardly, pulling away from the hug as he looked to see Razzle and Dazzle. Along with seeing Keke again.
