Charlotte Evans
"I'm so sorry, I never met for this to happen." I say handing her the napkins as I quickly started to panic.
You just had to do this right now Charlotte? Great job, way to make a first impression.
I'm quick to hand her more and more napkins as my adrenaline starts to pump even more. I mean, what were the chances that I would run into her right here, right now?
I just happen to have the worst luck.
As she harshly takes the napkins from my hands, she gives me this glare as she dabs the napkin on her shirt, attempting to dry up the stain on her shirt.
I will say though, that she is truly more beautiful in person. Her nose is perfect, her hair, makeup, everything. I don't want to sound like a pervert, but even her body is perfect. Is it bad that I may be a little jealous?
I take a quick second and try to discreetly take her all in. From her silky long brunette hair, down the jeans she was wearing.
Too bad for her strong attitude though, now I know that rumors are true. She's definitely something you don't want to mess with, especially on a bad day.
"Done judging me?" She asks as she throws away the dirty napkins in a nearby trash can.
My lips make a thin line.
Not only did I get caught, but I wasn't even judging. Admiring seems like the right word to use in this situation.
"Oh no, I wasn't, I'm sorry if it looked like that." I say as my eyes trail down to the floor. My cheeks start to increase in temperature and the sinking feeling in my stomach makes it worse.
She'll basically be my boss for the next year, and not even a few hours after taking the job I could possibly be fired. Or worse, she'll put me through hell first, then fire me.
And from what I heard about her, I definitely don't want to be on her bad side. That's the one thing I keep on getting reminded of and I already screwed things up. At least, I think I did.
I can see why though.
She walks away to the nearest trash can to throw away the dirty napkins.
She has this intimidating presence when you're around her. She makes one hell of a first impression that makes you want to be good from the start. I may have met her a few seconds ago but now I can tell what everyone means.
I want to apologize over and over again until she forgives me for what I've done but it seems pretty pointless as of right now.
One of my actress friends earlier this year had told me she ran out of one of her sets crying because of how brutal she was towards her. Apparently she couldn't remember one of her lines and that pissed Brooke Williams off. I mean everyone forgets lines but I guess she wasn't feeling it that day. And she ended up losing the job and getting replaced quickly.
I mean that friend of mine can have her moments so maybe those set of lines weren't the only problem.
But I can only imagine how she would treat me after this incident. After all she now had the power of the movie and me in her hands.
I mean, she got mad over a spilled drink. I can only imagine how mad she would get if I did something actually accidental on set.
"What a nice way to introduce yourself Ms Evans." She brushes off her shirt as she walks back towards me. That intimidating presence of hers returning.
"Nice to meet you too, it's an honor if anything. Sorry about the spill there I didn't mean too." I say as I look down to the floor again.
"I was joking." She says in an annoyed tone.
