Dearest gentle reader. I'm ever glad that you're reading this quick author's note. If you're here from Charted Territory & Knee Deep, welcome to my new series. Thank you for coming back and continuing to give my work a chance. If you are new, a warm welcome. 

This is a stand-alone book. But, it could also be defined as a spinoff. If you read my previous series and recognize any name repeats, YES, they are the same characters. This estate exists in the "Charted Territory world", so to speak. Cameron and Alexa, however,  will not be involved. 

SHORT VERSION OF MY AUTHOR'S NOTE -- PLEASE READ!! 

The Submissive Wives Estate is rated mature (18+) for its centering on BDSM. Specifically, spankings, bondage, discipline, power exchanges, and sexual content. There are themes in this work that some readers may find objectionable (ie. the D for Discipline in BDSM). 

Compulsory dominance & submission should not be glorified, normalized, or seen as realistic. You don't need to glorify, practice, or support BDSM relationships either if you don't wish to. But dark romance is fun to read and enjoying it in the safe space of your mind can be more rewarding than pursuing it in the real world. The end!

LONG VERSION 

In all my work, I try to make my plotlines as non-toxic as possible. Every character in this book is above the age of 21. There are no minors involved (some of y'all need to cut that shit!!) /no instances of sexual slavery/no "abuse to lovers" plotlines. 

Every character who enters into a power exchange in this novel enters with consent/a specific reason that they wish to live in The Estate. 

So if you leave hate, I will just refer you here . :) 

More disclaimers (it's my responsibility as an author before sending controversial content into the world): 

1. I am a feminist to my core. I believe the intersection of white supremacy & the patriarchy to be the root of all social issues. 

2. My writing is NOT designed as a place to fulfill my fantasies as a form of sexual liberation.  Nor do I wish this to be that place for you to do the same. I'm only here to tell a compelling story you can get lost in. 

2.2 This, or any of my other works, are not instruction manuals for the kinky life perhaps you wish to live. I'm not promoting nor shaming any lifestyle either way, You don't have to be interested in BDSM yourself to read and enjoy. For me, just because I may fantasize about something doesn't mean I need to act on it. 

3. I support everyone's journey to living authentically, but please seek objective resources and self-reflect if you are considering such relationships. Relationships such as these require boatloads of trust and consent. You are valuable, sacred, worthy, and free. Use your free will wisely - your safety is more important than what "feels good".

4. As always, if kink is not your cup of tea you may choose to bypass my work. This is a "dark romance" due to the unconventional lifestyle portrayed. So don't blame the dark romance for dark romancing. ;) You can agree or disagree with what my characters do and that's A-OK. 

5. The events will not always be tidy, but there will still be an abundance of sweetness. As a writer, I like to combine the elegant romance I love with the edge of dominance & submission I adore. 

6. Fiction gives us an open door to try living in a place we may not decide we ever want to visit again. Or at least we can say we're glad we lived it through a book. 

7. Lastly: this story will be told by three different girlies with changing POVs. I love a "three-female protagonists" book. So check who is telling the story at the beginning of every chapter!
