The Princess(A Winx Club fanfic)

Chapter 2

AN: Unless Ember is talking to people, she refer to Sky and Brandon as their identities. And, I'm not sure what kind of powers she should have as a fairy of crystals and would love some ideas.

Ember was riding on the back of her older brother's bike. Her brother, Prince Sky(blonde) was the next in line for the throne. He had a squire, Brandon(brunette), who Ember and Sky's parents, had assigned to protect Sky. Brandon sometimes also protected Ember on Sky's orders. Sky was Ember's real brother, but she also saw Brandon as brother figure since he and Sky were best friends. Sky and Brandon attended the Red Fountain School for Heroics, training to be Specialists. The two were currently escorting Ember to Alfea College for Fairies. The boys had attended Red Fountain the past two years and this was their third year. While, this was Ember's first year at Alfea.

"Here we are, Em." Sky said as they pulled up to the school. "Alfea College."

"Thanks for the escort boys." Ember said as she climbed off her brother's bike.

"No problem, Ember." Brandon said. "Do you need any help moving in?"

"I don't think so." Ember said. "But, thanks for the offer." She went to hug her brother.

"Ember, you really shouldn't be hugging me as we're going with that Brandon is me." Sky said.

"Do you guys really think you can keep up this charade of Brandon pretending to be you and you pretending to be Brandon?" Ember asked.

"Well, we've kept it up this long." Brandon said with a chuckle.

Ember shook her head.

Despite his earlier comment, Sky couldn't resist hugging his sister. "Have fun at Alfea." He said.

"And we'll see you at the party tomorrow." Brandon added, hugging Ember as well. "Oh. And here's Twyla."

Twylia was Ember's pet Liger.

"That's right." Ember said. "There's the welcome party for the new students."

She watched the boys ride off before heading to check in. There was a woman checking girls in.

"Name?" The woman questioned.

"Princess Ember of Erakylon." Ember replied.

The woman took a minute to find her name.

"Go on ahead." She said.

Ember gathered with the other students in front of the school. The woman who was checking students started talking to them about the rules to follow. Ember had overheard someone say the woman's name was Ms. Griselda. An older woman and the other faulty joined her.

"Welcome all. I'm Ms. Faragonda, your headmistress. I'm an Alfea alumna and a former fairy godmother." Ms. Faragonda explained. "This year we have quite a wonderful class. Some of you will fight evil, others will grant wishes and many are princesses that will take over your realms. Each of you is unique, you all have different sources of power, and diverse origins, but our mission is the same. To help each of you be the very best you can be. And of course, use every opportunity to connect to your Winx!"

Ember giggled as she heard a student mimicking Ms. Faragonda's speech.

"Oh, we also have a new staff member this year." Ms. Faragonda added. "Professor Aurelia will be our new healing spells and powers professor. She'll co-teach with Professor Palladium."

"Now, ladies." Ms. Griselda announced. "It's time to check into your dormitories and meet your roommates."

Ember headed to her dorm room. She read who else was part of her dorm before walking in. She was with five other girls. Three of the five were already there.

"Hello." Ember greeted.

"Hello." "Hi." "Hey." The others responded.

They introduced themselves as Flora, Tecna, and Musa.

"I'm Ember of Erakylon." Ember introduced.

"Erakylon is the realm known for having a notably significant monarchy compared to the rest in the Magical Dimension."

"That's correct." Ember said.

"And who's this cutie?" Flora asked, referring to Twylia.

"Twylia." Ember replied. "My pet, Liger."

"She's adorable." Flora said, petting her.

Ember smiled.

Two other girls walked into the room.

"Hi, I'm Stella." One of them greeted.

"You're quite infamous." Tecna said.

"That's the word on the street." Musa added. "If you're going to blow stuff up, let us know so we can bounce."

Everyone laughed at the comment.

"Were you able to create a new shade of pink?" Tecna asked.

"No, but when I do it'll be the new official color of Solaria." Stella said.

"I'm Bloom." The other girl introduced.

"Bloom?" Ember questioned. She didn't see the name "Bloom" on the list outside their dorm.

"Uh. I mean, Bloom's just a nickname I use." The girl said. She looked at the list of names. "I'm Varanda of Vallisto."

Ember thought it was a bit suspicious she had to look at the list of names, but let it go.

"Nice to meet you, Varanda. I'm Ember of Erakylon." Ember introduced. "It looks like we're rooming together."

"Yep." Varanda(Bloom) said. "It looks like those two will get along."

Ember looked down to see Twylia playing with a bunny.

"Aww." She said. "This is Twylia."

"And that's Kiko." Varanda(Bloom) added.

"Why don't we grab something to eat in Magix." Stella suggested.

The other girls agreed.
