Chapter 5

One day, Palladium and Aurelia were finishing up their class.

"Bloom's going to need to figure out her powers soon, if she's going to keep up." Palladium said as the students filed out of classroom.

All the professors had noticed that Bloom had been struggling with the classes so far. She hadn't been able to do simple spells.

"We're all being too hard on her." Aurelia said. "She just discovered her powers and that she has magic."

"Yes, but if she doesn't learn how to use them soon, she won't pass the term." Palladium said.

Aurelia just nodded.

Once all the students were gone, Aurelia made her way to Faragonda's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in." Faragonda replied.

Aurelia walked into the office.

"Forgive me for intruding." She started. "But, I wanted to discuss with you."

"You're not intruding at all, Aurelia." Faragonda replied. "Come in. What is it?"

"It's about Bloom." Aurelia explained. "A lot of the professors are noticing that she seems to be struggling with the class work."

"Yes, it has been brought to my attention." Faragonda said.

"If it's alright, I'd like to offer my help." Aurelia said. "Work with her and help her figure out her powers." "

think she'd be appreciative of that." Faragonda said. "I'll have Griselda retrieve Bloom and we can discuss it with her." Aurelia nodded.

A few minutes later, Bloom walked into the office.

"Come on in, Bloom." Faragonda said. "Have a seat."

"Did I do something wrong?" Bloom asked.

"No. You're not in any trouble." Faragonda said.

"Then, what's going?" Bloom asked.

"The professors have noticed that you've been struggling in classes." Faragonda continued.

"I know. I'm still trying to understand and figure out my powers." Bloomberg said, defensively.

"Bloom, it's alright." Faragonda assured her.

"We all understand that this is new to you and you're trying to figure it out." Aurelia added. "But, most of the class work requires you to use your powers and magic. If you don't figure those out soon, you won't do well in the classes."

"But, I don't know how to do that." Bloom said.

"That's why Professor Aurelia is here." Faragonda said. "I'm sure by now you've met her."

"Yeah. She teaches with Professor Palladium." Bloom answered.

"Yes, well in addition to the coursework she teaches, she also studies magical therapy." Faragonda said. "And she has graciously offered to help you with your powers. If you want the help, that is."

"Yes." Bloom replied. "I very much would like the help."

"Great." Aurelia said. "We can discuss later on when we can meet."

"Thank you so much." Bloom said.

"Of course, Bloom." Aurelia said. "You're certainly welcome."

Bloom walked out of the office and Aurelia followed behind her.
