HANA'S POV

"Hana, you should also eat vegetables" my mom said looking at me.

We all were having our dinner except my brother. Well, he is in Paris since last week because of the company.

"Eww! I don't like veggies, you already know that" I replied scrunching my face.

"I have told you many times that it's good for your health" she said.

"But-"

My dad interrupted my words by saying "well, I wanted to talk about something with you guys"

My dad never spoke during our dinner. He usually eat his dinner without saying anything. It must be something important I guess.

"What is it? Everything's fine?" My mom asked.

"Yes everything is fine. You don't need to worry" dad replied.

"Then what is it that you want to tell us?" Mom asked.

"You remember my childhood friend hongseok?" Dad asked.

I was just eating my dinner and was listening to their conversation.

"Lee hongseok?" Mom asked.

"Yeah lee hongseok" dad replied.

"So what about him?" Mom asked.

Okay now I was actually curious what he was going to say.

"He's coming back from the States with his family" dad said.

Okay, he's coming back from States but why is he telling us about this? Wait...is he going to live here with us?

"Okay so?" Mom asked.

"So the main thing is that he wants hana to get married with his eldest son" dad said and I choked on the rice I was eating.

"WHAT??" I yelled.

I think I heard him wrong. Yeah I must be listening things. I should listen to him properly. Yes! hana, don't worry.

"Calm down" my dad said.

"Honey, he wants hana to get married with his eldest son?" My mom asked. She was also shocked.

"Yeah, he said that she's perfect for him and besides she's already 26. Hana, I think you should settle down now" dad said.

"Dad, I don't want to marry someone whom I don't even know and I don't even want to know him" I said.

It's true I don't want to marry a random dude. Like bro, who wants to marry someone they don't even know? And mom? Why she isn't saying anything?

"Mom, say something" I said.

"Hana, listen to your dad first. And meet the guy before making any decision. Maybe he's the one for you" she said.

Well, she's right but...but what? There is no buts. She's right. He could be the one for me.

"Your mother is right, hana. I won't force you to do anything. But atleast meet him first, okay?" He said.

"Okay then..." I replied.

"He's a good man. I know him and he'll be taking over hongseok's position soon. Hongseok is the CEO of Lee industries" dad said

My eyes widened.

"Lee industries?? Dad your friend is the ceo of that company?" I asked not believing what he's saying.

Lee industries is one of the most successful company in Korea. And dad being the bestfriend of the CEO of that company is really really a shocking news for me.

"Yeah. I knew your reaction would be this" he laughed.

"And mom? You knew about this?" I asked.

"His wife and me used to be classmates" she said making me shock again.

"Am I really a member of this family? Why don't I know these things?" I asked.

"Don't worry, now you know this" dad said.

"Anyways, does sunoo oppa know about this all?" I asked.

"He is friends with hongseok's son" dad replied and once again I got shocked.

Okay I think if I stayed here even for a minute, I'll collapse.

"Okay, I'm done with the dinner" I said and stood up.

"Okay good night" both mom dad said and I also wished them good night.

I went upstairs in my room and laid down on my bed thinking about all the things I got to know today.

This is really really too much for me. I got to know so many things today...dad being bestfriend of the CEO of Lee industries, mom was classmate of his wife, and sunoo oppa being friends with Mr. Lee's son.

Damn...

Should I ask oppa about this all? Um..maybe not? I don't know. Let's ask him tomorrow as he's coming back tomorrow.

Wait...is he coming back with Lee's?

I should tell Haera about this all.

I picked up my phone from the nightstand and called her. After 3-4 bells, she picked up.
