3: Not interested

HEESEUNG'S POV

When I got to know that they're arranging or telling me to get married with someone I wasn't shocked because this is not the first time they're telling me to get married.

I don't want to get married right now. Every girl I've dated was a gold digger or they're cheated on me. All girls are same. Gold digger.

That's why I never take them seriously. Like every time, I'll just meet the girl and will say no to her. I'm sure she's just after my money.

My parents didn't even told me who is the girl? Who are her parents? They told me nothing. I just know her name, it's Hana.

Right now, we are in our flight going back to Korea from Paris after whole 4 years. Sunoo, my friend is also with us. He came to Paris last week because of some work. And coincidentally, his parents are also telling his sister to get married and the boy and his parents are coming to their house today.

"You must be excited to meet your future wife" sunoo teased me.

"I'm not. I'm not even interested in getting married right now and my parents didn't even told me anything about her, they just told me her name" I sighed.

Both my parents are sleeping in the back seat.

"Oo.. what's her name?" He asked.

"Hana" I replied.

"What...? Hana?" He asked. His eyes were slightly wide.

"Yeah but why are you looking shock?" I asked.

"Dude, my sister's name is also hana" he replied making me shock cause his parents are also fixing her marriage to someone....what if..? No no no, I'm just overthinking.

I nervously laughed and said "you're just overthinking but wait...her full name that my mom told me is Kim hana"

Our eyes widened at the same time.

"Sunoo, call your mom and ask her about the guy's name that is coming to your house today" I said and he immediately called his mom.

"Hello mom! Yes I'm good. I just want to ask you about the guy that hana is going to marry" he said to his mom.

"Yes.. what's his name?" He asked and was looking disappointed when his mom replied him. He hung up the call and looked at me.

"What's his name?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Lee heeseung" he said.

"Yes?" I replied thinking why is he calling me suddenly by my name.

"Idiot it's you! The one that is coming to my house today" he uttered leaving me shocked.

"What....?" I was extremely shocked like it wasn't a coincidence.

"I'm telling you! If you hurt her, I'll kill you, heeseung" he told me getting serious all of sudden.

I just nodded my head.

To be honest, I've never met or seen his sister before. And I'm still not interested. I know I shouldn't say this but she must be a gold digger too. Although I know they're rich but who knows? If she wants more money.

Whatever it is, I'm not going to marry her.

"Damn it's you, and they didn't even told me" he huffed.

"Sunoo, you go inside. I'll come after this call" I told sunoo to go inside.

After the flight landed, me and sunoo went somewhere because we had some work. My parents already went to sunoo's home. And after finishing our work we're here and as I was about to open the door of the car, I got an important call so I told sunoo to go inside the home first.

I talked with an important client for about 5-10 minutes and when I was done, I opened the door and rang the bell.

Soon sunoo's mother opened the door. I greeted her and she let me inside. There I saw everyone except sunoo and her sister.

"Come heeseung, sit" my father said and I obeyed him.

They all were talking about the marriage and I wasn't interested so I started playing games in my phone.

Soon sunoo and his sister came and I felt a gaze on me. But did I care? No.

Mom told her to sat beside me and when she sat beside me, her perfume got in my nostrils making me feel something weird. Something great. Her perfume was so good. Just like vanilla.

As I was not interested in this marriage and was going to say no to her, I didn't even took a look at her.

"Heeseung stop playing with your phone!" Dad scolded me.

I sighed and kept the phone inside my pocket.

"Oh you two look so good together!" Mrs Kim said. My mom agreed with her.

Just then my dad spoke up saying we two should go and know each other more.

"He's right. Go and get to know each other" my mom said.

Ugh... I don't wanna go anywhere

Her mom told us to go and have some talk.

"Shall we go?" Hana said. Her voice is so melodious. She must be pretty.

Melodious? Pretty? No! Heeseung what you're saying? All girls are same. Gold digger.

I don't want to go but still I nodded my head.

We both went to her room and she asked me if I wanted to sit in balcony.

"Anything is fine" I said.

We both then sat in the balcony looking at the starts. No one said anything. It was all silent. Peaceful.

The view from here is beautiful.

I wanted to look at her but at the same time I wasn't interested.

"Um...how old are you?" She asked breaking the silence.

"28" I said.

"Oh okay..." She replied. Then it was all silent again.

"Do you want to marry me?" I asked and finally looked at her.

She's... she's beautiful. Right now I'm feeling something that I can't explain. I don't know what is it... but the feeling that I'm feeling is beautiful.
The way she caught gaurd off when I asked her the question, her expressions were making her look more beautiful.

I don't know why I'm feeling this all, but it feels so good and bad at the same time.

No! I can't feel this all! This is so wrong. I can't marry her.

"Y-yes- I mean no...no i mean that's not it- ugh. What the heck I'm saying?" she got flustrate and I chuckled at her.

"I don't want to marry you" I told her.

I saw her expressions were kind of disappointment ones? Or sad?

"W-why?" She asked.

"I'm not interested in getting married. My parents made me come here somehow. So it'll be good for you if you don't keep your hopes up" I told looking straight in her eyes.

"I understand. But whatever decision my parents will take, I'll accept it" she replied.

"Whatever it is...just try not to marry me. After going back home, I'll tell my parents that I don't want to marry you and then everything will be done" I said.

"Let's go back now" I stood up and went out not waiting for her.
