["She saved me." Madison said. "That's all you need to know for now."]

Nick, Alex, and Alicia were sitting in the living room, each engrossed in their own activities. However, the atmosphere shifted when Madison walked in, a box of Monopoly in hand.

"Really?" Alicia asked in a bored tone, looking up from the book she was reading.

"Yep." Madison replied, placing the box on the table. "I'm the top hat." she added, causing Nick to shoot up from the couch in excitement.

"Car." Alicia declared.

"Shoe." Nick followed.

"Dad was always the shoe." Alicia remarked, getting on the ground.

"Daddy wouldn't mind." Madison assured.

"Do you want to join in?" she asked Alex, who was still sitting on the couch.

"Sure." Alex said, shrugging her shoulders before sitting on the ground between Nick and Alicia.

"So, what do you wanna be, the thimble?" Nick asked his sister jokingly.

"No." Madison said.

"I'm the car." Alicia said to her brother.

"The car. Alright." he said, handing the little car to his sister.

"I'll be the thimble." Alex said with a chuckle.

"Thank you." Alex mumbled as Nick handed the Monopoly figure to her.

"All right, who wants to go first?" Madison asked, now that the game was all set up.

"Youngest to oldest." Nick said, handing the dice to Alicia.

"I'm gonna wipe the floor with you guys, I can feel it." Nick boasted.

"This game's evil, dude." Alicia joked.

"Yeah, Kindergarten capitalism." Alex said, shaking her head with a chuckle, receiving a small smile from Alicia.

"Shut up and roll." Nick told his sister.

"All right, all right, all right." Nick said before moving the shoe. "One, two, three, four, five, and that's Boardwalk."

"Oh my god." Alicia chuckled, leaning her head back on the chair behind her.

"And I will buy that, please." Nick said, holding his hand out to his mother as Alicia and Alex groaned.

"All right, all right." Madison said, handing her son $400 Monopoly dollars.

"Boardwalk sold." Madison declared.

"Hey, hey." Madison said as Nick began to throw his Monopoly money around.

"Come on." Alicia said.

"Calm down, play fair." Alex told Nick, shaking her head at him with a smirk.

"Do not treat the banker like that." Madison joked, handing Nick the card for Boardwalk.

"Thank you very much." he said before holding his cards up. "And that's the pair."

"You always get the good ones." Alicia groaned.

"Oh, look at that, I'm crushing you guys. You're pathetic." Madison said, ready to throw the dice when suddenly they heard distant gunshots go off.
