The Meet

She was driving up her driveway when he saw a man lying under the tree on her front lawn. With her daughter in the back sleeping, she was hesitant to drive up. When she got a bit closer, she saw that he was injured based on the blood on his shirt.

Luna: Mommy? (groggy)

Fatima: Yes baby?

Luna: Is that man hurt? He's bleeding mommy.

Fatima: I can see that, stay right here, do not unbuckle yourself.

She got out of her car and approached him, he was deep in his sleep that he didn't hear the car engine of a G-wagon roaring. He was woken up by a soft voice.

Fatima: Hello? (She walked closer to him)

Zac: (Eyes still closed)

Fatima: Hello sir, are you okay?

Zac: Uhm yeah, I'm okay. (He tried to get up, but the pain stopped him) Ahh (He groaned in pain)

With a history in the medical field, she told him to not move and that she's going to get him something for the pain. She walked back to the car to get Luna out and to get her first aid kit out the kitchen.

Fatima: Luna go and watch TV, I will be right outside okay.
(She just nodded)

She walked over to him and helped him clean and dress his wound. She handed him some pain medication and a bottle of water.

Fatima: Are you feeling, okay?

Zac: Yes, Thank you, the pain has subsided. I should get going, Thank you so much for helping me out.

Fatima: May I ask you this, why were you sleeping on the lawn and not go and seek medical attention? Your wound was pretty bad.

Zac: The hospital is a bit far from here and I started to lose my strength. So, I saw your front yard and the shade, so I decided to lay down for a while. I'm sorry for getting your grass dirty with my blood. I have to go, my journey continues.

Fatima: Where is this journey leading to?

Luna: (Shouting from the door) Mommy I'm hungry.

Fatima: I'm coming baby, grab a snack from the pantry in the meantime.

Zac: (He smiles at Luna) Duty calls.

Fatima: Yes, I'm Fatima by the way. (Reaches for a handshake)

Zac: Zachary but you can call me Zac.

Fatima. Nice to meet you. Are you going to be okay?

Zac: Yes, thank you.

Zac walks down the driveway as he looks back at Fatima and shouts, "Your husband was here by the way".

Fatima was wondering who was there because Zac said husband. She makes lunch for her and Luna while she enjoys her cartoons on TV. She looks at her cameras to see who was at her house. She sees that Zac was thrown out of a moving car and she is worried about him. She furthers look at the camera footage and sees that Brandon (her ex, not Luna's father) was there too. There's then a banging on the front door which startled Luna.

Fatima: Go upstairs baby.

Brandon: OPEN THIS DOOR! TI?🗣️

Fatima: (Opens the door) Why are you shouting. My daughter is upstairs.

Brandon: Are you pregnant?
