Answering the call from Jay, I placed it at my ears.
"Yes, likkle bwoy?"
"Yuh know seh mi guh a di place and dem a seh dem nahve nun." He said informing me that there wasn't any of the necklaces that I wanted to wear to his party that was coming up.
"Kmt and mi did want it fi guh the party satdeh." I replied feeling frustrated.
"My girl look how much chain yuh have a yuh yaad weh yuh nuh wear one a dem deh?" he said equally frustrated.
"Alright mi aguh wear sumn else."
"Aiite ina e lates."
"Bye boo."
"Yo yuh def fi stop call man dat." he said to the name I gave to him.
"Aiite byeeeee." I said ending the calling.
Coming off the call i realise we were still in the school parking lot. Turning to him I saw that he was looking outside.
"Mi naah bada guh town yer?" I said while putting on my seatbelt.
Hissing his teeth he started the car pulling out of the parking lot.
Tevaunie's POV
Pulling out on Mountain View road my mind was still on the boy that she was talking to.
Yaah batty man bout yaah tink bout man?
"Shante a who u did a talk to?" I asked.
"Mi fren." She replied while her attention was on the phone.
Pulling over the car on the side of the road I looked at her and saw that her head was still in her phone.
Grabbing the phone from her hands her attention immediately went on me.
"Why did you do dat?"
"Because mi wahh talk to yuh and yuh head juss dung ina yuh phone."
"If you wanted to talk you could've just said so." She said turning in the seat so she was slightly looking at me.
"Who di bwoy yuh did pan call wid?" I asked again.
"Tevaunie I already told you dat he is my friend. What else yuh wahh hear?" She said slightly tilting her head.
"You and him a fuck or sumn?" I asked.
Looking at her face it immediately turned into disgust.
