He awoke later and I was sitting in a chair beside the bed.

Kaden looked at me and his eyes widened. "Stay the fuck away from me, monster!" I noticed that his chest was moving up and down rapidly. He was terrified; eyes wide with horror.

"Kaden," I said. As much as he fought it, he met my gaze. "I have to tell you something."

"H-how could you keep being a vampire from me for four months!"

"That's not what's important right now,"

"It isn't? You're a blood sucking monster and-" He immediately stopped, sudden realization taking over. "You bit me. You fucking bit me! I-I'm a... a-"

"Vampire, yes. I bit and turned you. Your blood was different from the... others and when I tasted it, I couldn't stop drinking and I ended up draining you. I had no choice but to turn you."

"Why didn't you just let me stay dead?"

"Because I couldn't lose you. I care about you a lot, Kaden."

"If you cared, you wouldn't have turned me into a monster," His eyes held pure hate. "I would never ask for this. I won't kill people. I can't."

My fangs protruded from my top lip and I glared at him. "You will kill. Being a vampire means kill or be killed."

His eyes glowed yellow and his fangs emerged. Yellow glowing eyes meant anger. He was angry at me. I needed to get away from him and let him simmer down. Newborns are ten times stronger than older vampires except for original vampires like myself. I used my speed and ended up in the hallway and made sure to block the door to the room Kaden was in.

He pounded against the door. "Let me out, Snow! I'm going to rip your fucking throat out!"

"Not until you calm down and accept what's been done," I said and sped into the woods. I needed time away from him and his new found anger.
