It’s a beautiful day today
Birds are singing
On days like this, something bad will happen.. obviously
(In a busy alleyway, a group of criminals is robbing stores while a man screams hysterically, loud enough to annoy even the most patient ears.)
Screaming Man: AHHHHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD, HELP MEEEE!
Thug 1: Shut up, man! You’re ruining the vibe!
Screaming Man: MORE MONEY? HERE, TAKE MY WATCH, MY RING, MY...!
Thug 2: We didn’t even ask for all that, dude...
(Meanwhile, in an elegant but messy house, Den is sitting on the couch in panda-print pajamas, munching on cereal while watching TV, he glances lazily at the clock)
Den: Come oooon... I just woke up
(The TV switches to breaking news about the robbery in progress. Den rolls his eyes and stands up slowly, throwing on his jacket.)
Den: Alright, time to go to work
(He heads out quickly, adjusting a device on his wrist and tuning into the police radio. The transmission is filled with static.)
Radio: "... suspects fled towards Central Avenue in a black car... be advised, they’re armed!"
Den: Wow, what a surprise 😱
(Then he leaps across rooftops, darting through the city, closing in on the scene.)
(Meanwhile, the criminals jump into a car, throwing bags of cash into the backseat. One of them starts the engine and glances in the rearview mirror... only to see Den casually sitting in the backseat)
Den: Oh, you're so cool for stealing stuff that isn't yours!
(The thugs freeze for a moment, their brains trying to process the situation.)
Thug 1: W-WHAT?! HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE?!
Den: Oh, you know... Car doors aren’t exactly a fortress
(Then he grabs a bag of cash and inspects it)
Den: You guys couldn’t rob a bank instead? These bills smell like chips
(The thugs, snapping out of their shock, try to attack him. Den, unbothered, simply sidesteps their punches, delivering casual yet devastating counterattacks.)
(One thug is flung into the dashboard, another crashes against the car door, and the last one collapses into the pile of stolen goods. All the while, the screaming man outside continues his high-pitched wailing.)
Screaming Man: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
(Den opens the car door)
Den: Dude, if I had to listen to you scream every day, I’d never leave my house
(The police arrive just as Den finishes tying up the unconscious thugs with the seatbelt straps.)
Police Officer: What’s going on here?
Den: Oh, nothing much, I just did half your job for you. You’re welcome.
Police Officer: Uh... thanks, but you’re not a registered hero, we’ll have to detain you for—
(Den sighs, already walking away.)
Den: Yeah, no
Not happening
(When the officers look back, Den is gone, darting across the rooftops. As he leaps through the city, a loud crashing sound nearby catches his attention. He pauses, glancing toward the source of the noise.)
