Chapter Two

Hailey's Pov

After a few hours, we all became great friends. I was chatting with the cute blonde, Niall, and we had gotten to know each other quite well. Maria and the mysterious-looking one, Zayn, hit it off right away since they had similar personalities. They came out from the tent Maria and I were sharing and walked over to Niall and I. "Hey, Hailey, can i speak to you in private for a moment?" Maria asked. I nodded and followed her away from the group. " Uhm, Zayn wants to show me where him and his friends like to hangout.. I was wondering if you and Niall could come with so you can make sure I don't embarrass myself? Please?" I giggled at her and nodded, "Of course, anything for my best friend." I smiled then walked with her back to the two waiting boys.

We hiked up a hill with flashlights till we saw a little abandoned building. Niall stopped us when he heard noises from the building. "Hold on. Let Zayn and I go check out the noise.." He trailed off as he pointed his flashlight at the building. Zayn approached the building cautiously and shone the flashlight through halfway boarded up window. "Awh sick." Zayn said as he backed away after looking in. Niall looked in after him and rolled his eyes. " Really Harry? You barely know the girl."

Harry walked out of the building still putting on his shirt and Effy followed behind, her tank top on backwards. I sighed and informed her about her shirt then turned to Maria. "Its late anyway. Let's just go back to the camp site and we can come back tomorrow when there is more light to see." I said then started walking down the hill we had just hiked up.

We made it back to the others and saw that they were making s'mores. Harry, Effy, Zayn, Maria, and Niall joined them, but I walked over to a tent and grabbed a blanket. I walked to a little clearing behind the tents and laid out the blanket. I laid down on it, my arms folded behind my head and looked up at the stars. After a few minutes, I heard someone bump a tent then saw Niall come out from behind one. " It's beautiful, huh?" he asked, pointing to the stars as he sat next to me. " yeah.." i trailed off and sat up. "You stargaze too?" I questioned. He nodded and wrapped an arm around me then laid back. I laid with him and continued to look up at the stars.

"Niall?" I speak up after a few minutes. "Yes?" He replies. "After this whole camping thing, will you and your friends still hang out with my friends and I? I would really like to hang out with you more.." I said as i rolled onto my side now facing him. He nodded, "Of course, Hailey. You're my new best friend and best friends are supposed to hang out." I smiled at his response, "Thanks." "No problem." he smiled back then we both turned away and continued to look up at the stars.
