Christmas

Adelaide and Regulus were lying next to each other in bed, Adelaide had her head lying on Regulus' chest and he had a protective arm around her waist as they both slept, when their bedroom door opened loudly. The loud noise caused both of them to leap into a sitting position in fright. They both calmed down when they saw Ella running up to their bed and jumping in the middle of them.

"Naw even in sleep Reg is clingy as fuck." Evan chuckles. Isla rolls her lips inward to stop herself from laughing which Severus sees and shakes his head with a smirk.

"I'm not clingy!" Regulus rebuttals.

"Really? You are always touching Adelaide in one way or another and you guys aren't even together yet." David points out making Regulus turn and glare at him. David just points to the arms that is rested over Adelaide and Lyra.

"In his defense, we didn't get a lot of physical affection growing up. Or any affection for that matter." Sirius states making Skylar tilt her head to the side.

"Shut it boy." Orion immediately says.

"See what I mean?" Sirius points out.

"It's Christmas!" The girl cheers making her parents smile no matter how tired they were.

"I know princess." Regulus tells her with a smile. He leans over and kisses the side of her head. "Why don't you go see if Evan's awake?" Ella has a big smile on her face before she giggles and runs out. Regulus then turns and face plants his pillow as Adelaide rubs her face in exhaustion.

"We have to get up." Adelaide comments making Regulus let out a groan. "This is your fault you know."

"Reg, you lazy asshole get up."

"Sky!" Adelaide defends Regulus making a warmth spread through his chest.

"What? This is how me and Regulus talk to each other." Skylar explains.

"I'm sad to say that is the truth." Regulus sighs.

"Damn right it is you lazy asshole."

"Having children?" Regulus asks her, his voice muffled by the pillow.

"Yes." Adelaide answers before she pats his back and gets up. She walks out of the room to see the twins and Cassie slowly walking towards their bedroom door.

"Mum!" Ella yells, slightly offended.

"Sorry sweetie." Adelaide leans forward and gives her daughter a kiss on the head making her smile.

"You aren't supposed to be awake yet." George whines with pouts making Adelaide giggle.

"Reg is still in there." She informs the trio making their faces light up. "Go nuts." They all smirk at each other before running quietly past her into Adelaide and Regulus' bedroom. Adelaide then walks into Neville's room and sees the boy sitting up rubbing his eyes. "Merry Christmas sweetie."

Neville smiles and gets out of bed to give her a hug making the woman laugh and hug him back. "Merry Christmas Addy." She smiles wider and gives him a kiss on the head before he runs out of the room.

Adelaide then turns her to the other bed in the room to see Ron spread out like a starfish making her giggle slightly. She walks over and shakes his shoulder lightly making him wake up with a startled snort. "Merry Christmas Ron."

"Merry Christmas Addy." Ron replies as he rubs his eyes.

"Go downstairs, breakfast will be started soon." Ron's eyes widen at the promise of food, and he practically sprints out of the room making Adelaide laugh.
