Family
It is now Christmas holidays at Hogwarts, with snow falling. Hagrid is dragging a massive Christmas tree to the castle. Hermione and Riley walk into the Great Hall entrance with their luggage. Hermione was wearing a scarf and a coat for the cold weather while Riley added a beanie on top of her head.
The ghosts are going around singing Christmas songs. "Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Ring the Hogwarts bell. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas..."
Hermione and Riley look at the directed dining hall with the massive Christmas tree as Flitwick uses his wand to put another ornament on the tree. They then move their gaze to Harry and Ron as they play Chess with Leo watching closely and start walking towards them.
"Knight to E5." Harry says, looking at the board. The Knight moves to its destination. Hermione walks up behind Harry and Riley stands behind Leo who was sitting next to his cousin with his head on the table.
"Why aren't you playing too?" Fleamont asks his grandson.
"Because I suck." Leo answers. "Also I was banned from playing when I threw the board after I lost."
"That was my favourite board." Ron says grumpily as he slouches in his seat, crossing his arms.
"Queen to E5." Ron says with a smug face. Hermione and Riley watch as Ron's queen goes over to Harry's knight and whacks the knight with her chair. Ron grins as the piece falls.
"That's totally barbaric!" Hermione comments as the girls look at the board in shock.
"Someone who agrees with us!" Lily and Isla say together.
"That's wizard's chess." Ron explains as he looks at the girls and their luggage. "I see you've packed.
"I see you haven't." Hermione comments.
"Change of plans, my parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother, Charlie. He's studying dragons there." Ron explains to the group.
"Does he touch the dragons?" Leo asks astonished making the group turn to him. "Because that's on my bucket list. To not touch a dragon."
"What?" Sophia asks as she looks at Leo. Leo only give her a shrug in response.
"Good. You can help Harry and Leo, then. they're going to go and look in the library for information on Nicholas Flamel." Hermione explains.
"We've looked a hundred times!" Ron complains.
Hermione leans over on the table closer to Ron, Leo and Harry. "Not in the restricted section. Happy Christmas." Hermione leaves Ron and Harry while Riley looks at her retreating figure with wide eyes.
Ron looks at the boys. "I think we've had a bad influence on her."
"But the restricted section is out of bounds, it is named the restricted section!" Riley comments as she follows after Hermione's retreating figure. "Happy Christmas!" She calls over her shoulder to the boys before completely disappearing.
"She's still the same." Leo comments.
"Hey." Riley complains.
"Am I lying?" Leo asks, turning towards her. All Riley does is shrink in her seat making Hermione glare at Leo.
"Why have you boys not packed?" Adelaide asks making the boys jump as they didn't realise that she hadn't walked up to them.
"My parents are going to Romania." Ron answers simply before turning his attention back to the board.
