Elena and Emma are sitting beside each other on the bed. Elena has tears in her eyes while Emma rubs her thumb over top her hand
Emma: I would never hurt you. You're safe with me
Elena: All those animal attacks, those people who died...
Emma: No. That was Dani!
Elena: Dani?
Emma: Yes. I don't drink human blood. That's not how I choose to survive, but Dani does! I'll explain everything to you, but I beg you, Elena, do not tell anybody.
Elena: How can you ask me that?
Emma: Because you knowing this is dangerous for so many reasons. Do you trust me?
Elena nods her head and Emma pulls her closer kissing her on the side of the head
Emma: I never wanted you to find out this way.
Elena begins to cry and Emma wraps her arms around her letting her cry on her shoulder.
MYSTIC GRILL
Emma and Elena are sitting at a table.
Elena: You said you would explain everything. That's why I asked you to meet me here. When you Google "vampire" you get a world of fiction. What's the reality?
Emma: I can tell you whatever you wanna know.
Elena: I know you eat garlic.
Emma: Yes.
Elena: And somehow, sunlight's not an issue.
Emma holds up her hand showing her the daylight ring
Emma: Me, Dani, and Meg has rings that protects us. Dani isn't just a vampire, she's a witch too. She made our rings.
Elena: Crucifixes?
Emma: Decorative.
Elena: Holy water?
Emma: Drinkable.
Elena: Mirrors?
Emma: Myth.
Elena: You said you don't kill to survive.
Emma: Animal blood keeps me alive, but not as strong as Dani. She can be very powerful. Meg takes blood bags from the hospital but we're not as strong as Dani.
Elena: Is that supposed to make it ok?
Emma: No. No, none of this is ok, Elena. I know that.
Elena: Are there any others, aside from you three?
Emma: Not in Mystic Falls; not anymore.
Elena: Not anymore?
Emma: There was a time when this town was...very much aware of vampires, and it didn't end well for anybody. That's why it's important that you don't tell anyone.
Elena: I don't know
Emma reaches across the table grabbing her hand interlinking their hands together
Emma: Do you love me?
Elena: Yes, more then anything.
Emma: Do you trust me?
Elena: Yes.
Emma: Give me until the end of the day and let me tell you everything. If you want to end this, I'll understand and you'll never see me again.
ROAD
Caroline opens her eyes seeing she's in Meghan's car. Meghan is driving
Caroline: What are we----Meg? Where are we going?
