After Trellis and Riva FINALLY got out of that smelly taxi, Trellis rushed up to Riva. He was nervously tugging on his shirt "Riva.. I... I've been to tell you something these past few days...." Trellis Muttered as he stared deeply into Riva's black eyes. "Um.. sure Trellis.. what do you want to tell me?" She asked with a hint of annoyance. Trellis blushed, hard. Riva and him had always been close friends since 6 years old, he didn't know if this would damage their relationship or not. Trellis took a deep breath, He was going for it, He closed his eyes and yelled, "iminlovewithyourivailoveyousomuch!!" His words came out in a rush "I've been trying to make sense of these feelings that have been developing in me, a-and-" Before Trellis could finish his confession Riva burst out into laughter. "Why would I date a guy like you?" She mocked him before walking away. Trellis was holding back his tears, started to feel the lump in his throat "o-oh that's f-fine.." He uttered sadly.
