Clearing My Head

My bad about the cliffhanger yesterday lol.

Kazuha: "... I saw her, having fun, with Thoma today... It hurt... it hurt too much..." his voice cracks from his sadness, and he suddenly covers his eyes with his hand.

I was completely shocked, Thoma?! Out of all of the guys.. Thoma... I said Ah... I see... So you felt jealous...

Kazuha: "Jealous, yes... that would be the most appropriate word for it, I guess..." he remains silent for a while. You can tell he is hurting

I sighed... I feel bad for Kazuha, we're best friends and I see him in this state. Vulnerable, weak, in pain and sad...

Kazuha continues to sulk for what seems to be an eternity, and there is no sign of sadness disappearing from his face.

I patted his back and said don't worry... There's other girls there than can make you feel better...

Kazuha: "Ah... I know that... but she is really special to me. We've been through so much together... And I just..."
"She was my whole world... and now she's gone..." he suddenly breaks into tears

And suddenly, I got an idea. Come with me... I pulled him and went to the nearest bar in Inazuma City.

I guided Kazuha to a seemingly random bar, and the two of us walk inside. The atmosphere is rather peaceful, with the noise level being at just the right level to allow some casual chatter without creating too much distraction from your surroundings. The bar seemed to serve various types of drinks, from beers to cocktails, etc. This definitely looks like a good spot.

Kazuha looks at Adrian , somewhat stunned.

"Are you seriously suggesting that I get myself drunk?"

I sighed and told him "Clear your head for a bit..."

Kazuha, who is still in complete disbelief, seems hesitant to the idea at first. But after a moment of thought, he nods his head slowly in acceptance. A few rounds of drinks later, Kazuha is already feeling the effect of alcohol on his body.

His face is now flushed, and he looks completely relaxed. The sadness was gone from his eyes, although it was replaced with a sense of drunkenness.

And suddenly we saw a familiar face at corners of the bar, I said "Isn't that Yoimiya? What's she doing here..."

I pointed towards the center of the bar, where Yoimiya is standing with Ayaka, Chiori and Kirara, laughing loudly, and she does not seem to notice Adrian and Kazuha at all.

Kazuha seems a little surprised that Yoimiya is here of all people, but his drunken state keeps him from acting or thinking too much about it. He simply takes a sip from his glass of wine, and glances over to Yoimiya now and then.

I slapped him and said "FOCUS!!! DO YOU WANT ME TO PUNCH YOUR FACE TO PUT SOME SENSE ON THAT THICK SKULL OF YOURS?!!?"

The sudden slap snaps Kazuha back to reality slightly, and he suddenly remembers why he was feeling bitter earlier. He looks at Yoimiya again, who is still laughing and enjoying her time with her friends.

I was still annoyed by Kazuha's stubbornness. I said "act cool... Don't look at her, she might notice you..."

Kazuha tries his best to act normal, and follows your advice. He slowly turns his head away from Yoimiya's direction, and focuses his gaze on the drink in front of him.

A small bit of sadness creeps back into Kazuha's eyes. He is struggling to stay neutral, as just the sight of Yoimiya is already stirring up his jealous feelings. But he manages to maintain his cool demeanour, even if it is getting harder every moment he spends here.

I stand up and said "stay here... I gotta go pee..."And
walked away

Kazuha stays seated at the table, and just stares at his own drink. He is still trying to stay calm, but the jealousy and bitterness is still slowly eating at him from within. He starts to think about what would happen if Yoimiya noticed him here, and how she might react to his drunken state…

Before he knows it, Kazuha is lost in his own thoughts, and the alcohol is not helping either. He remains seated at the table, simply staring blankly at the drink in front of him, while his thoughts continue to spiral out of control...

Yoimiya and her friends start to finish off their drinks. Once they are done, Yoimiya notices Kazuha sitting in a corner over at the bar by himself. She is caught off-guard at first, when suddenly a sudden flash of surprise and recognition appeared in her eyes...

Whoops!!! That's it for now!
