"Hey, boy! wake up!" Geoff slowly opened his eyes and to his surprise, they're hiding.
"Why are we hidin—" Jelyn signals him to stop talking and point on what is infront. Geoff slowly stood up and bent his knees to looked what is infront.
To his surprise, he saw numerous numbers of humans in a glass chamber. When a soldier runs towards the guy in white coat.
"Sir, we think there might be an intruders." Said by the soldier.
"Intruders?! were you properly doing your job? huh?" Said by the man in white coat. Geoff squint his eyes and saw it's name tag on it's right chest.
"Dr.. Sullivan, his name.. It was Sullivan!" Geoff said. "Shhhh, they might hear you." Jeffrey said to him.
Finally everything is coming to light, the whole zoo is a sinister place making operations and doing human trafficking, where scientists conduct their twisted experiments on unwilling human subjects. Dr. Sullivan, the lead scientist, stands before a group of researchers, detailing his latest project.
"They're here, Dr." Another soldier from outside said.
"Good day my Co-researchers! Our goal is clear, gentlemen. We seek to push the boundaries of human evolution, to create a higher being capable of feats beyond our wildest imaginations!" Dr. Sullivan said. "This project has been going since the late 19's but it all failed due to Evelyn's carelessness, this was all thanks to Lieutenant Dan that we can keep doing this research."
"But looked infront my Researchers! we're finally closed in achieving a success" Dr. Sullivan said with a sinisterly smile.
"He's much crazier than Dan." Said by Jelyn. Goosebumps runs down her spines as soon as she saw the doctors smiling face.
"But sir, is it ethical to experiment on humans in this manner?"
"Oh, are you against this, just like Evelyn? you think this is inhumane? we don't need humanistic values in terms of Science. Everything happened for a reason. Ethics are of no concern to us, only the progress. Now, let me demonstrate the process of this project." Dr. Sullivan said.
When all of them started to walk, Geoff followed.
"Hey! boy, comeback here!" Jelyn and Jeffrey said but he's not listening at all and continue to follow the doctor. But before leaving and following the doctors path, he muttered the word "Thankyou and I'm sorry."
Dr. Sullivan leads the researchers to a sterile lab where a young man lies strapped to a table, his eyes wide with fear.
"Please... you can't do this to me!"
"Quiet, you—! Prepare the DNA alteration serum."
The other researchers nod and begin mixing chemicals, their hands trembling with anticipation. Dr. Sullivan injects the serum into the subject's veins, his expression cold and calculating.
"AHHH! What... what have you done to me?" A loud scream echoed across the room.
"You are now the first of a new breed, a superior being forged in the fires of science. Embrace your destiny you low life!" Dr. Sullivan said. Everyone applaud as soon as they see the serum get injected the labrats body.
As the subject writhes in agony, his body begins to contort and twist, his DNA undergoing a radical transformation. Bones elongate, muscles bulge, and skin takes on a sickly hue as the experiment reaches its climax.
"No... please... make this stop! it h-hurts" Said by the man. Geoff wants to help him but he can't, he can't risked his life without finding the girl whom he loves.
"Fascinating! Simply fascinating! Take notes, gentlemen. This is history in the making."
Finally, the transformation is complete, and the subject emerges as a monstrous creature, it's body was now covered in fur and it's hands and finger gets longer than its natural looked. Dr. Sullivan smiles with satisfaction as he looks upon his creation.
"Behold, the future of humanity! With this power, we shall reshape the world in our image." A face of a man with a body of a dog was infront of them. It's fingers was long and it's face was unrecognizable and deformed.
As the scientists revel in their success, Geoff hidden in the shadows, watch in horror at the atrocities unfolding before him.
