Despite having the luxuries and financial stability provided by her wealthy father, Seulgi's life was far from perfect. The once-idyllic family life had crumbled when her father's deceitful actions led to her mother's departure. "What's that in your face?" Seulgi's father asked when he saw the cut on her face.

"Just got into an accident." Seulgi replied coldly.

"You didn't do anything stupid, did you?" Mr. Kang looked at Seulgi intently.

"No."

"Make sure you don't get into trouble. You have to change your clothes. We will pick your mother in the airport."

"My mother left 2 years ago." Seulgi answered and went inside her room.

In a heart-wrenching twist of fate, Seulgi can't still accept the harsh reality that the very person she held responsible for tearing her family apart had now become a permanent fixture in their lives. The mistress, who had so callously destroyed her parents' once-happy relationship was now living under the same roof as them. This unbearable situation left Seulgi feeling betrayed and powerless as she struggled to come to terms with the fact that the person who had caused so much pain was now an integral part of her family's daily life.
