IRENE

On a seemingly quiet Saturday, I had planned to spend my day at home indulging in some much-needed relaxation and watch my favorite Neflix show. However, fate had other plans in store for me. My cousin, Yeri, who seemed to be brimming with energy and excitement came knocking on my door urging me to join her on an unexpected adventure. Despite my initial reluctance, I found myself drawn into her infectious enthusiasm and agreed to accompany her.

We headed to the mall where the vibrant atmosphere and lively crowd immediately contrasted with the serenity I had envisioned for my day. My cousin with a gleam in her eye led me straight to the toy store where the Mega Space Molly 400% Planet Series figures were displayed in all their colorful glory.

"Seriously, Kim Yerim? You just ruin my Saturday relaxation and asked me to accompany you just to buy this stuffs?" I rolled my eyes on her but she only giggled.

"Unnie, these were cool. I wanted to have these on my collections." She answered while browsing through the collections. As we perused the collection in the toy store, she was particularly drawn to the intricately designed figures that captured the essence of various celestial bodies and their inhabitants.

"Unnie, which Mega Space Molly figure do you think is the best?" she asked, her voice brimming with anticipation.

"All of them." I simply answered.

"But I can't choose. All of these were the best." She pouted as she scanned the various figures with their unique feautures and designs.

"Then, buy them all." I was startled when someone spoke behind my back. The voice appeared to be familiar.

"Oh my God, Lisa Manoban!" Yeri squealed.

"Hi." Lisa grinned and she winked at me. I just rolled my eyes on her.

"Are you also a fan of Mega Space Molly?" Yeri asked excitedly and I twitched my eyebrow when she clung into Lisa's arm. Like when did they become close like this?

"I do. I have a lot of collections. I heard they have new figures released. I came to check it out." Lisa answered but her gaze were focused on me. "Do you also like Mega Space Molly?" Lisa asked as she looked at me.

"Are you asking about me?" I asked when her gaze didn't left. I look at my back but there's no one.

"No. I am asking the figurine at your back." She smirked before turning to the figurines on the shelves.

We continued our Saturday escapade with Yeri and I who joined by Lisa who shared enthusiasm for the Mega Space Molly 400% Planet Series figures. We continued our journey through the toy store. Lisa and Yeri shared interest for Mega Space Molly 400% Planet Series figures that created a natural bond between them. Their conversations flowed seamlessly punctuated by laughter and the occasional glance towards me as they sought my input or approval.

"You should smile, Ms. Bae." Lisa whispered when she stood beside me while Yeri is busy choosing figures. I just raised my eyebrow and didn't respond.

"You look like a mother accompanying her kids. You were just standing right here with your cold face and crossed arms. You're like judging the whole existence of the store." Lisa chuckled that made me glare at her.

"Who wouldn't? I have company who were nearly an adult acting like a kids." I rolled my eyes but she only giggled.

"I'll pay." Lisa said as she handed her black card to the cashier.

"No, I'll —" I was cutted when Yeri butt in.

"Thank you, Lisa. I'm going to love these figurines." She hugged the figurines like it was a precious gem.
