Chapter 3

Chris's POV

I check my phone to see what time it is because I told Felix, my closest friend, that I would be back at least by 1 and I have work in the morning. "Shoot I need to go, it's almost one and I have work in the morning." I say and make my way to the door. Just as I'm about to walk out I am stopped by Eli. "Yes El-" I am stopped when I feel a pair of lips touch mine and I backed away. "Y-you should go now" Eli says while she's pushing me out the door and closes it. "What just happened?" I mumble.

I arrive at both mine and Felix's house, I can't stop thinking about earlier though, why? When I walk in I see him on the couch watching a show. "Hey lix. Why are you still up?" I hear nothing "Lix?" I walk up to him and I see him sleeping. Really, again lix. I pick him up and take him to his room. At about 2 am, I get up to go get a drink of water from the kitchen. "What are you doing up?" I hear a deep voice say and I spit out some of my water. "Don't scare me like that Felix." "Whoops," He says. "So what are you doing up?" "Nothing much, I just can't sleep and I'm getting water." I say pointing to the cup of water I'm holding. "So whose house did you go to?" Felix asks a bit more energetic than before. "Just Jesse's house. He needed some tutoring." I said, trying not to think of what Elizabeth did. "I can tell something else is on your mind. What happened?" Should I tell him? I just met her though. "You can tell me. I'm your best friend, you know I won't judge." Felix said as if he could read my mind. "Fine. So when I was walking out. Elizabeth, Jesse's sister, she..." I felt like I couldn't say the next part. Why can't I say it? Just say it Chris. "She kissed me..." I managed to get it out.

Liv's POV

"Wait what?!" Jesse says in a shocked tone. "So you're saying that you kissed Chris, my friend? Someone you just met?" I nod, "I couldn't control myself." I still feel a bit shocked from what I did. "I don't know if he still even wants to meet up anymore or even talk." I say. Why couldn't I control myself? "How about we just go to sleep and figure this out in the morning. Come on." He says, leading me to my bedroom. I lay down and surprisingly I fell asleep almost right away.

In the morning when I wake up I smell the most delicious things ever. I jump out of bed and run to the kitchen. "I guess someones hungry" I hear Jesse laugh. "Well you made pancakes so of course I'll be hungry." I say, a little bit tired but very excited "Chocolate chip pancakes to be exact." My smile was so big it hurt my cheeks. I sit down and Jesse gives me a plate of chocolate chip pancakes. "So Liv, about last night. Why did you kiss him?" Why does this always have to be when I eat??? Like save it for when I'm done eating. "I don't know. I couldn't control myself." I say "What if he is like William? What are you going to do then huh? You can't fall for someone you just met." Jesse says a bit concerned and a little angry. "He's not like William, I know it." I say trying to defend Chris. "Then prove it!" He says almost snapping. "I just don't want you going through that again I mean you almost got married until you found out that he was cheating with-" "Don't say her name" I say coldly. I get up and walk to my room.

Chris's POV

I was woken up by Felix jumping on my bed and shouting "Wake up!" "5 more minutes" I mumble and turn away from him so I am facing the wall. "Wake up before I take Berry and run away." He says. "Ok, ok, I'm up." I say as I get up and walk to the kitchen to get some water. "Soooooo, about the girl," Felix says with a small smirk on his face. "What do you want to know about her?" Why can't he wait till later to talk about this and not when I just wake up? "What does she look like?" Felix asks really energetic for the morning time. I smiled when I thought of her. Wait what am I thinking??? I can't like her, I just met her. "She's okay." I say smiling a bit. "Yeah sure...your smile says something else. I have a feeling that you're hiding something. Tell me." He says, sounding both demanding and energetic at the end. But still I shake my head. "Please Chris." Felix says with puppy eyes. "Fine. So I might, maybe like her. I don't know though." Felix's smiles so big "So how does she look like?" He says wanting to know so bad. Just as I was about to speak my phone started ringing. I look at the contact and its an unknown number so I ignore it. "Was that her?" Felix asks a little excited "No it was some random person." "Aw okay" Felix says sadly. "Well I should get ready for work bye Lix." "Bye Chris"

Liv's POV

I'm now currently mad at Jesse for bringing up William. So to clear my head I go out for a walk ignoring Jesse trying to stop me. When I'm at my favorite park, I was too busy looking at the flowers that were in front of me that I didn't notice the William was right next to me. "Hey princess" My eyes widen when I see who was talking to me "Go away. Shouldn't you be with her"  I say coldly. "Please princess, I changed" I roll my eyes and start to walk away. Until I am stopped when someone grabs my arm. "I will get you back. No matter what princess. You will be mine." He says as I'm trying to break free. "Hey baby" I hear as someone grabs my other hand. Wait I recognize that voice. "Chris?" I ask. "Hey baby are you okay?" He asks smiling at me then looks back at William. "Yes I'm fine babe" I say and William lets go of my arm and I run to hug Chris. He laughs a bit. "Missed me that much?" I nod with my head in his chest. "You got lucky this time Lili. You will be mine." William says and walks away. "Who was that?" Chris asks but I don't want to say. "Doesn't matter lets just go home."
